Flako, the Eurasian Eagle Owl, photographed in Central Park, Manhattan. Probably the world's most famous owl, he escaped from Central Park Zoo after having spent 13 years, his whole life, in captivity. Against all odds, as of this post, he has thrived for a year as a free bird in the Big Apple. Reminder: Give him space, be quiet and NO FLASH PHOTOGRAPHY PLEASE (it can damage his eyes).
