C. Currently Reading: Abhorsen by Garth Nix! It’s pretty fun, not the best fantasy I’ve ever read, but he’s got some really great and original ideas.

G. Glad You Gave This Book A Chance: Honestly, Discworld. When I started reading fantasy I was in my rebellious teen!fase of wanting to read only ~adult and gritty stuff because I wasn’t a baby yadayada, so of course when I read the description on a turtle floating around in space carrying a whole world on his back (and also elephants) I thought it sounded ridiculous. I’ve never been this glad that I got over my I’m-11-so-I’m-only-reading-cool-stuff-fase very quickly because Terry Pratchett will always be my favorite author bless his brilliant mind

Why did you choose your URL?


I usually go by the name Lapini (which is honestly just a play with the French word for rabbit, used in the Finnish translation of One Piece at one point. I adopted the name as my online nick because I thought it was cute), but the name was taken when I joined tumblr so I just added some letters from another nick I used before.

What is your middle name?


I have two: Laura because my dad liked the name, and Ilona after my late grandmother.

If you could own a fairytale/fictional pet, what would it be?


Having a daemon like in His Dark Materials might be cool in a way. I'd probably get stuck with something really lame, though.

There are so many things I hate about Tumblr, that I often ask myself why I even use this site anymore. I'm probably staying for funny fandom posts and sweet art. And friends.
