Has anyone else seen something like this?
The weirdest thing happened last night when my bf and I were on my porch. We saw two huge flashes of blue light that looked like it came from the ground and was definitely not lightning. It lit up the whole sky/area around us and was at least a couple miles away. Idk what could of possibly surged that kind of power....so it leave me to think only one thing.....ALIENS
The Weekend Signature
It's Friday evening.
I know this clearly because of several facts. Nothing that most people would deduce a Friday evening by; leaving work, hitting the pub or whatever. The tangible sense of (false) relief after a week of bill paying. Nothing like that.
I live somewhere between two police stations and adjacent to a major hospital. On a main London access route, the Barking Road. It runs from Poplar (Docklands to those of you who subscribe to Thatcherite made-up-labels) to Barking, where it joins the Longbridge Road on out through Dagenham into the countryside. These run parallel to the A13, a trunk from the centre of London to the east coast through Essex. Living up against the centre of the Barking Road I hear a lot of sirens. That chip-&-pressure-horn cadenced wail of the artificial screaming banshee.
On a Friday evening the frequency and urgency of those techno-howls increase dramatically from 5p.m. onwards, and the later hours of darkness - post-pub, post-club - don't see any surcease. In fact with the absence of other traffic and background noise they can simply be heard farther off and for longer. Distant dopplerers bolstering the closer cacophony.
Friday night.
All I hear are screams.
