I have yet to start my first reroot (I’ve been sewing like one of those little Cinderella mice) but I’m certainly excited to give it a shot! I found this Flavaz a while ago, and ripped out her microbraids to give her a sleek center-parted bob. @dollsahoy did this also (using repurposed hair though, #wastenotwantnot) and I fell in love with the results and have wanted one ever since!
I remember seeing these dolls in a Shopko when I was 10 (so ~2003)...they were so trifling LMAO. But! I’m a fan of the lady faces for the most part, and I like how stylized and sculptural they are—very removed from the GG, Teresa, Mackie, Diva, etc. that I remember so clearly. That being said, I’m excited to give this gal a new lease on life with green hair. 💚💇♀️
