Synopsis

Shimojou can have whatever he wants but deep down finds life boring. Constantly searching for a thrill, he wanders off the path of an elite and descends into life as a yakuza-like lowlife. Nonetheless, he moves forward as if life were an easy game. Then one day, he comes across a man who’s a filthy piece of garbage. This is the man, who during their youth, was the only person who has given Shimojou the taste of defeat: Kuze. The sudden arrival of this fallen Kuze irritates Shimojou. Y’all don’t know how excited I was for this says the person who left it to sit on her front porch for a few weeks after it was available. I was even more excited for this than I was for Life Senjou - I mean, who the fuck gets excited to hurt themselves? me 

Yeah, man. That was the bomb. The CD stood true to the manga just like how Kashikomarimashita, Destiny was. I was originally planning to read the raws of Flaver since the English fanscans were taking some time to be released, but when I got news that it was going to be adapted into a BLCD, I decided to wait for it and read it along with the CD. Man, Sachimo never disappoints. I didn’t have a gripe over this - lol nope.

WHY THIS CHOICE OF SEIYUU?????

I mean - I highly respect these two (esp my baby Yusa), but bro, you just set up the first Nanao-san with the second Nanao-san 😂. I imagined Kuzue and Shimojo to have deeper voices, and sadly, I thought Nojima-san’s range was too high for this role. His voice sounds so unnatural since he’s lowering it, and I couldn’t buy it. Now, Yusa used his Bernardo voice, but idk, I think he was more suited for Shimojo. I think Nojima-san’s voice is suited for younger top roles. I had high expectations because of the Kashikomarimashita, Destiny casting, but yeah, that may just be my preference. 

Anyway, I definitely recommend this to anyone else looking for some short but dark plots as do I recommend its manga.

Mattress mambo was 👌 - ya’ll thirsty hoes are gonna have a blast with this. Although the last dance kinda made Yusa sound like a bottom but that’s just me lol.
