Marys’ a very manipulative person, always has been. Once she realized that Cynara was such a pushover, it was only a matter of time before she started twisting the other womans' actions to suit herself. Despite that, she still has a certain reluctance when it comes to Cynara, a slight fear brought on by her appearance.

A. If you could get away with one murder in your lifetime without any legal, social, or emotional repercussions, would you kill someone?
Absolutely. As is, I've already been debating risking those repercussions, and conveniently, for one very specific person. Only having to worry about getting the job done and getting myself out would be exceptionally helpful, rather than worrying about having their followers hunting me or or my...loved ones down, or leaving some shred of evidence behind and being jailed, or being betrayed by my mind to feel guilt for some ridiculous reason...There's a lot to consider in this current reality, but take that away and you'd definitely have that corpse.
...Let's not mention any of this to my employer...
