Ohiio: Extra Large Ohiio Blanket
This big beauty (and it is big, weighing in at around a dentist’s lead blanket: 15 pounds!) is from the Ukraine-based company, Ohiio, pronounced oh-yo.
So first off, this is the wrong name for this blanket! This is the “OMG, it’s so heavy I can’t even get up to go to work blanket” or “the protects Superman from Kryptonite blanket.”
I want this blanket big time, but at $897.00 for a king size blanket, it’s probably not going to happen. But Yowsa.
They also offer a medium blanket 40x60” for $489 and a small blanket 30x50” for $295.
100% Merino wool, from Australia.
Dry Clean only.
Rumpl: PUFFe Heated Blanket
This blanket falls into the ultimate blanket category. And we want one, bad!
The PUFFe Heated Blanket is available with synthetic or down fill and heats up in seconds using a Ravean carbon heating system. It takes 90 minutes to fully charge the system and the blanket will throw heat for up to 10 hours. And it’ll do some other neat tricks too—like charge your cellphone and shed some light on any situation with its built in flashlight.
This is the blanket to be under when you just can’t shake the chill, and would be an awesome addition to our old barn here in New England or for overnights on the boat in late fall.
Blanket measures 54'' x 80'' and weighs 2.1lbs with down fill and 3.4 lbs with synthetic fill (not including battery, which weighs 7oz).
Billed as the smartest, most travel-ready heated blanket ever designed. And I think we’d have to agree.
End of times, apocalypse, zombies: This is the go-to blanket!
