One of the foals for a pairing in my previous headcanon [all of which i really should go back and redesign] was a re-imagined Sugar Grape, and I thought it would be fun to go back and do the same for some of my ships now! I still love the otps that I’ve had since season 1 but if you asked me what they are now that we’re 5 seasons in I’d have to pick new ones:

Lovestruck; Twilight x Rarity, biological using a rare alicorn spell, huge romantic and usually found trailing her aunt Cadance

Honey Rays; Applejack x Fluttershy; adopted; Honey Rays shows up in the show as an unnamed background pony, but her toy design is different than the show so idc i’m using her.

Bumblesweet; Cheese Sandwich x Pinkie Pie; biological, gained her parent’s knack of befriending any pony but doesn’t exactly enjoy throwing parties

Prism Glider; Rainbow Dash x Fleetfoot; biological [Soarin x Fleetfoot]; his toy uses the mare model but his description uses ‘he’ pronouns, so here I headcanon him as genderfluid. Changes between she/he/they pronouns. Prism is often hc’d as trans, go check him out!

I’m not sure if I’ll keep them, but they were fun to do!
