you know... all things considered. this was pretty funny. ironic, even. to be traveling with his once-would-be-assassin & fellow classmate... hysterical, even. menma counted only a few days since they had left konoha, & honestly seeing a town with an actual inn was music to his ears. with aren, tuckered out & fast asleep in the bed next to him, menma took that as his chance to slip out of the room without alerting his roommate.

the door clicked behind him silently before the raven quietly made his way down the hallway and down to the main floor below---he paused when he saw sheena sat at one of the tables.

 “sheena-sensei,” menma startled, then pressed his hand over his chest, a soft sigh of relief escaping him. “you scared me.”
