Nor would they have been able to tell anyone WHAT those phones held up high in the sky were doing. People just looked silly ding that really; as if the expected the phone to actually see anything ! Whatever it was, the girl's ' metal box ' seemed to be for the same purpose. She liked pointing it at people as well.

⊱ ★ ⊰ㅤ˗ˏˋㅤJust after they spoke, they would hand her an opened box of Morinaga Moonlight. The little blue cardboard box was a far cry from the large metal tin she had offered them once. But it was CLOSE.

As the smaller child stood beside the rose bush with a fallen blossom in hand, she shifted on her feet, forcing an earnest explanation through the pile-up of words in her throat.

A sob escaped, and then a hiccup. Afterward, she tried again.
