“Flint City Hard Cider” Throwback to a few weeks ago when a good friend from Detroit trekked all the way up to Flint so we could go hear the “Rest Easies” at my new fave spot, @flintcityhardcider. While we were standing outside listening to the talented band, I couldn’t stop studying the amazing artwork by Argentine artist, Seba Cener, in the background. It’s part of the public mural project from @flintpublicart and was completed in July of this year. Inside you’ll find hardcore skater music from the 80’s/90’s: Suicidal Tendencies; GWAR; GBH; The Misfits; and a bunch of other great bands I hadn’t heard in a couple of decades. Their hard cider cocktails are adventurous, and the grilled cheese sandwich I tried Was one of the best I’ve ever had. They’re doing a great job of making the place feel safe too, not too easy for businesses to do these days.
