I don't know that I've listened to any music this week, but I have woken up with Whiskey by Tejon Street Corner Thieves in my head several days in a row.

What's the last thing you hyperfocused on?

Heelwork, particularly training the flashy focused heel. Black dog and I are working on one more good dog title, then making a turn into silly malinois shit.

What's an oddly specific thing that brings you joy?

Sleeping with my fuzzy bat blanket after I've just shaved my legs. It's the softest thing in the world and happens roughly three times a year.

What smell instantly makes you happy?

Warm hay

Are you a morning person or a night person?

I'm an asleep person. In an ideal world I am asleep morning and night.

I've become a morning person as I've gotten older.

If you work, what is your work profession? And do you like it?

I'm a [redacted]! I do not, in fact, like it! I thought I would, and I very much enjoyed learning everything, but I have burnt the fuck out in 5 years.

(I don't explicitly post what my career is, but it's fairly easy to puzzle together from my blog. I went to school for a long time, owe more in student loans than I do on my house, and frequently fantasize about either winning the lottery or dying suddenly. As a profession we have a ridiculously high suicide rate. So. It's going well.)

Remember how severalmany months ago I was mourning my favorite collar that I thought got left with my ex but they said it wasn't anywhere in their house? It has been found!!

I'm getting my baby boy back tomorrow!

I'm sure this will have no impact at all on my subconscious loneliness and how much I miss kink spaces.

Like. What's the point if it's never going to get used again? But it's so incredibly comforting to have again.

I'm gonna be a weird fangirl about Sleep Token real quick.

The fact that the band hasn't ever done a video interview, and Mr II decides to do so on an *educational* channel really. *Really* makes me feel things. I think it speaks to the type of person he is, to want to teach and increase knowledge? It would be so easy to just speak with any music outlet, but they picked a platform that is designed to teach people how to play drums.

I love this so much.

(I fully understand that a lot goes into publicity and appearances and such, and the decisions behind what to do or not do. Fully accept that I am projecting a bit and *definitely* overanalyzing. But let me have this.)

Breaking hiatus to say I just found out Refused is doing a North American farewell tour.

Do I fuck up my entire (already made) work schedule to go see them in Denver?

I have rejoined a gym. And did A Workout.

I am fuckin WEAK but I DID IT and I Feel ENDORPHINS.

So partner has moved back up here and is only like 30-60 minutes away now, and is managing the rehab portion of this gym so like. Free personal trainer. And also the fetish model friend is their licensed massage therapist so also win for hot femme administering helpful pain?? Are things. Looking up????

Also I've nearly been violently murdered by three different dogs this week so maybe it's a balance.

I do find it amusing that my heart rate doesn't even budge in response to this anymore
