I spent this weekend with my best friend and we kept doing this thing where one of us would say something and then the other would say something like "I was literally just thinking that". it happened more times than I could be bothered to count as well, it wasn't just once or twice. like jake and I hadn't seen each other in about two months I think and I find it so weird and so incredible that you can have this connection with someone and be so alike that you think the same responses to things and say the same thing at the same time I love him and even though we live pretty far apart now, I have some comfort in the fact that I clearly have some of him in my head

ok lemme tell u a story about a kid called jakethe summer before I started secondary school, I met this guy by my house, and we got talking and I found out that he was in the same year as me and we were going to the same school

I saw him once in year 7

skipping forward 4 years, my friend brought this really awkward kid that I didn’t know to my 15th birthday party, we didn’t really talk much but I remember him throwing pasta at my kitchen ceiling then in year 11 we slowly started hanging out and talking on BBM, I even went to warped tour to try and impress him, even though I’d only heard of one band there. by about May time we were best friends and I’d discovered that he was the loveliest, funniest and most caring emo that I’ll ever meet and we are still best friends and undoubtedly will be for the rest of our lives because my life would not be anything like it is today if it wasn’t for the kid that threw pasta at my ceiling and text me to tell me he was in my kitchen making us tea when I didn’t even know he was in the country
