(Part 2) Again, I get that it's frustrating if someone owns your dream character, but I don't think bashing them on an anonymous drama blog is particularly a good idea because it'll make them feel bad (if they read this blog). I would personally feel really discouraged about participating in a species if I knew people were talking poorly of me behind my back instead of voicing their concerns to me directly. I think the act of doing that is more toxic than someone owning a bunch of one cs tbh.

puhleaze. guys. they're bidding because of salt, not driving the price up. i've been there, misa, i get you. may not be the best of intentions, but i still gladly pay for all my purchases, price hiked up or not.
(Part 1) I understand the frustration, but at the end of the day, owning a bunch of a CS isn't harming anyone + Blitz isn't the only one who does it. I personally own 40+ Mothcats (my own species, so arguably "okay"), but I've also spent more than $1000 on Elnins, Pillowings, & Pacas individually. I do it because I like them & want to support the owners. There's nothing wrong with that & it's not like they're not real animals being neglected. It hasn't affected my lifestyle either.
This is late b/c I've been busy, but I wanted to voice my opinion re: ownership caps and FTO sales too. I'm not a fan of ownership caps, and like AJ, I won't support species who do that. I think having a cooldown thing is... eh?? I wouldn't do it, but more power if someone does. FTO sales are a Thing though... it's like. I think, if the artist is selling for the usual price, just restricted to FTO, then that's fine. If they're specifically cheaper prices, I don't like them simply b/c (c)
I’ve seen too many FTO-specific designs be put up for trade as soon as they possibly can. I understand the desperation of wanting to get into a species, but it’s kind of a bummer and super disheartening to any artist who specifically lowers their prices to include those people (who, most of the time, try to trade up anyway). There are the gems who do keep their FTO designs and love them just as any other design, but those people are one in many.. speaking from experience and from what I’ve seen.I do like the incoming trend of flatsale-raffles, though!! I think they give everyone the opportunity to purchase designs without necessarily having the fastest internet connection. If I had to pick a more inclusive sale method, then I’d definitely go with flatsale-raffles. ~Maybe~ for FTO’s, you can give them two raffle tickets instead of one. But I definitely wouldn’t encourage or personally go out of my way to make cheap FTO adopts & definitely no sale cooldowns and/or caps or any sort.
