Anyway I’m going to talk about Keyclan more cause I love them with all my heart.

Obviously based on the florida keys the coastal areas of south florida. I’m playing a lot with the stereotypical idea of beach lovers of being relaxed and chill all the time. Keyclan has daylight warriors and doesn’t really disgunish between kittypets and clan cats. They have such close ties with humans because of the limited space on the islands and the territory they live in. A lot of them are tnr cats or have been vaccinated and released so they’re very well off compared to the other clans.

But this also comes with a lot of downsides too. More people means more cars and highways and buildings destroying the mangroves and the reefs they rely on to hunt, so more and more cats are hunting in the town where they are more likely to get hit by cars or potentially taken into shelters and never seen again. (obviously I’m all for taking in stray cats but this is from the cats perspective lol) And the increase of red tides and oil spills means they are still dying at a rather alarming rate.
