almost getting mowed down by Chris Dudley’s small child before the show started, noveling in line and on the floor during set up, Underoath’s kids waving to the crowd from the balcony above the stage (and also really hyping their dads during the set), someone behind me thinking that Underoath had keyboards set up because of their last album’s sound change instead of the fact that they’ve had a keyboardist for almost two decades, Chris jamming fucking hard on the drums, Spencer plays guitar?, the whole crowd singing Sugar We’re Going Down and then simultaneously moshing and singing Chop Suey (which was the most fun I’ve ever had listening to that song), the guy standing next to me really losing his shit when they played Dropkick Murphys, opening with Downfall of Us All, crowdsurfing on a crowdsurfer, Resentment is insane live, wanting to get more video but the crowd was too rowdy to do it safely, absolutely losing my shit at “Brace for impact,” Kevin playing a little bit of Chattahoochee, Walk this Way intro, Lit cover, grabbing a four foot long strand of streamer and stuffing it in my pocket after unwinding it from a dude’s arm, absolutely all of I’m Made of Wax, Jeremy really playing up the encore we all knew was coming, driving home listening to even more ADTR.

i think this was my 8th time seeing them and they never disappoint.
