Frisk and Chara :D

Charas design is based off of an 1873 dress that i found. there are a few things that i’m not sure are historically accurate, like in 1812 showing the edges of your bloomers was considered fashionable but i never found a source saying when that went out of fashion. i also found a source saying skirt length was dependent on age, so 12 year olds were just below the knee, 14 year olds were around the calf, and 16 year olds were ankle length 0: i didn’t draw it in but Chara also has a tooth gap (cause i think it’s cute)

Low-key not sure about her design so might redo it at some point. I wanted her non lab outfit to have a more Lolita vibe cause I feel like she would absolutely wear Lolita if she could. Her design is based off beta designs cause I thought the frilled lizard kinda look, looked cool 0: it’s a shame I could only fit two visible flowers T-T

I struggled so hard with his design 😭😭😭 not even sure if I like it lol, bros vibes are hard to pin down 3: and i only managed to fit two visible plants (Tremella Nestoc) on his design D: the rest are hidden under clothes cause i did not think that part of his design through at all

anyways this version of sans is more optimistic than the original partially so he doesn’t upset his brother lol

he uses a cane but I haven’t decided if it’s a case of gaster messed up building him or he damaged his leg somehow

Victorian steampunk inspired — asriel and chara in victorian clothes, modern characters in more steampunk styles

Flowers directly related to magic — more magic, more flowers grow

Too much magic, too many flowers can grow and cause breathing problems, hyper awareness and paranoia.

too little and the flowers will take too much energy leading to fatigue and lowered pain resistance.

Flowers can adapt based on people’s lives? eg can be born with daisys (innocence) but later they grow into something else?

Chara and frisk - the humans - don’t have any flowers bc the flowers are caused by magic, however i’m planning for when frisk falls — if they do the pacifist route, they will gain a flower associated with the characters, like at the end of the ruins, when toriel hugs them, she tucks a wood sorrel or moss behind their ears so she’ll be there with them the entire way etc?

maybe the monsters dust like canon but the flowers continue growing where they died? so it would be like a city/town/village/area overgrown by nature by the end of geno? they disappear at a true reset but not at a softer reset like the end of neutral?

maybe a stupid idea, but every time flowey goes somewhere he died and regrows? so he leaves a wilted flower behind for a few mins before it dusts?

Toriel dress is based off victorian mourning dresses, cause i feel like it fits her, like girlypop is mourning her children, the fallen children, the future of her people, the “loss” of her husband (he’s not dead but he’s dead to her) also it just slays :3

i couldn’t fit all of napstablook’s plant onto his physical design so the humble plant leaves and flowers are part of their attacks :3
