Lifestyle of a Floserd

This'll explain things about a Floserd's life, like how they're born, what they eat, and how mating exactly works for them
Floserds are grown in the ground, like most plants. They take up nutrients in the ground, and take up water either through groundwater, or from rain (or maybe if there's a little source of water nearby. Or, of course, if it's a Water Floserd, and is surrounded by water. When there's getting close to finishing growing, a bud will appear above the ground, slowly. The bud doesn't flower when it's finished, however, as this bud is the Floserd's tail, and will grow alongside them.
When they're finished growing, a baby Floserd digs itself out of the soil, and is ready to explore the world.
Floserds mainly eat a diet of things like hay or grain, basically what real cows eat. However, they will sometimes photosynthesize, and lay in the sun to absorb energy This can slightly vary depending on the varient though (above is for Plain Floserds)
Tundra Floserds will eat grass & grain, and will occassionaly eat berries.
Water Floserds eat seaweed, and other herbivore foods in water. Sometimes (if accessable) they will reach onto land for a lil nibble of grass, as a treat (they don't need it to survive, just sometimes they like the taste)
All of the Floserd varients drink water, the water varient accessing it the easiest (of course)
(also btw, though Floserds are herbivores, they are not cannibals and will not eat one another)
Now, for the mating process (they don't mate in the way that's probably expected)
For Floserd mating, it doesn't depend on parts, nor does it exactly require having a partner to do it.
If two (or more) Floserds grow in love with each other, then one of them will lay an egg (YES they lay eggs, don't ask), which look like seeds, and then they'll pollinate it using the flower/herb of their tails.
Of course, there could just be one, who'll lay an egg, and pollinate it alone.
After this process, they wait some time for the baby to grow (they're not a species to abandon their young, so they'll stay close by as they wait for the baby to grow), and once the baby does, they'll nurture and take care of it. The only case of a Floserd not raising its young would be if the parent Floserd died before the baby finished growing (or if the herd that the parent Floserd belongs in begins to move locations before the baby grows all the way).
Floserds live basically the same lifespan of an average cow.
(also their seed variates depending on the flower/herb/weed of the parent Floserd that laid the egg)
Floserds travel & live in herds mainly, unless an individual Floserd decides to live alone, which is rare for a Floserd to do. They stay in herds for protection, and also for comfort, as they (technically) have predators (what are the predators? idk... wolves... or any carnivore/omnivore fursona? I guess mainly omnivores?)
Floserd herds (that's kinda funny to say imo) are slightly mixed up of bipedal & quadrupedal Floserds. However, they mainly stay the varient (no Plain Floserd & Water Floserd herds for example. Either Plain Floserd herds or Water Floserd herds, not a mix). However, this doesn't automatically imply they hate other varients, it's just rare to see them herd with other varients
anyways, I can't think of any more required info, cus I think this is enough for their lifestyle!
