     Setting up the stage was an art in and of itself. The turntables under your fingers are new. Untouched. Out in the direction of where the audience was set to fill, you imagine the bobbing heads and epic fist bumps to the air. A part of you had always wanted this — always pictured it in your mind since you started mixing. But mixing had always been a private affair to you, and you had grown used to the audience of one or two. 

     Now, you look at the wires and speakers set up just for you. Aries and Stella, whoever they were, had chosen this job for you personally like they knew you’d be nodding your head to the finer details, running your hand over the table and anticipating the coming roar of your attendees.

     But a girl interrupts your thoughts. In an open area of grass, you see her sitting, and you wonder why she’s here so early.

     You grab a bottle of water and head her way, offering it when you’re close enough. For “fall,” it’s a pretty hot day.

DAISY: Four things that make your character happy.

If we’re including concepts, I think this will be easy! Thranduil is a big fan of nature, he has lived in peace with it all his life. He respects nature and the earth more than most other people, really. As for another physical thing, he adores silence. The constant buzz of those around him is exhausting and to be honest, he doesn’t slip into their minds as often as he could. Quiet allows time for himself.

Onto concepts, Thranduil also joys at being listened to. He can be quite arrogant and often demands respect from others, therefore it is pleasing to have someone willingly acknowledge his superiority. He is wise and strategic, why not take his advice to heart?

Lastly, the one thing he wouldn’t easily admit to… family makes him happiest.

“Hey, you.” Not exactly the most polite way to greet someone. “You’ve got a cell phone, don’t you?” She’s seen people with them, so obviously so. “I need to borrow it, I need to checking something super super quick! It’ll just take a sec, promise!” That’s not exactly the best way to ask someone a favor, but it’ll do for now.

An unfortunate part of training as a Jedi, one had to note, was the lack of art. True, the temple was filled with gorgeous sculptures and designs, but a Jedi’s job was to forget the frivolous things, focus only on that which was important. Still, Barriss knew when to stop and appreciate something, though it may be as small as a painting.

   “Did you paint this yourself? You are very skilled.”

♚A Little Something Occult♚

Certain terminology was relative, the term occult was one of those relative terms. In Evie’s world witchcraft and the like was not ‘secret’ or ‘mysterious.’ Its existence was a prominent feature in their society. So to what other worlds would see as ‘occult’ they saw as something regular. Still she felt there was a great deal she could learn from a store dedicated to the occult which she found. They had information on witches from all over the worlds and timelines. So she figured it would be a great place to learn about her own kind.

When Evie entered the store it seemed absolutely desolate. Quietly she wandered the shelves; her finger tips gently brushed up against the book bindings. The place was a maze, and what made it worse where there seemed to be no logical order of subjects. So when Evie finally saw someone, she couldn’t help but smile. “Excuse me,” She tapped the girl upon the shoulder, “I don’t know if you work here or not…But would you happen to know where the witchcraft section is?”
