A Chapter 5 Update to my old post "What if each Dark World came with unique main outfits, depending on the theme?" Also slightly updated some of the older sprites I made for the other Dark Worlds.

(Yes, I know there is no "Castle Town" design, but that one was actually kinda hard to come up with, so I decided just to make it so that you can "pick and choose" your outfits there.)

(And yes, I know I'm missing some people(Lancer, Starwalker, Rouxls, and maybe a few more), and I am gonna make a separate update with them later.)

Updated the looks of the Flower Castle Gang

Tweaked some faces slightly and got them way more fitting outfits

And they are all beautiful

despite everything, even the fact that this is another universe, it's still kill or be killed

More like seal or be sealed. But like, yeah, and I really love how this conflict happened with the Flower Kingdom not just because of the Flowey allusions, but also because Flowery and the other Flowers are some of the most sympathetic Antagonists the Fun Gang has ever faced... and these are the ones they ended up in an irrevocable conflict they couldn't resolve peacefully with.

I have a whole post in my Drafts, about how Important it feels that 'It's Kill or Be Killed", even when it ends up being kinda true, is not used by Undertale and Deltarune the way that Flowey seemed to think about it, as a permission to do violence and be selfish, how it's more often then not a Tragedy that makes you wish things could be different.

In that way, Flowery is the spiritual successor not just of Flowey's role in Undertale, but also of Asgore's....

Flower Kingdom Chest

The final chest for now, for Deltarune's fifth world. This is part of a series where I design Kingdom Hearts chests for each of Deltarune's dark worlds. This is sort of based off the topiary bushes that Flowery creates, although I thought it would be fun to give it more of an impressionistic painted look. I had to redraw the Deltarune and lock since the displacement map really obscured those features in a way I felt weren't diegetic.
