open up what you got in your mind to me. [pt.1 – huntrix]
they've never met someone like you — a mortal who almost knew them .. better than they knew themselves. for the boys, it's annoyingly intriguing. for the girls, it's comforting.
paring(s): huntrix & saja boys x demon expert!gn!reader
warning(s): some movie changes, probably effected lore that makes no sense for the sake of the narrative
request: here ! this is part 1 – i loved it so much i had to make 2 parts hehe ,,, part 2 is here !
your family worked with the demon hunters for generations – mortals who studied the demons, found their strengths and weaknesses, worked as field researcher on demonology alongside the hunter to keep the honmoon safe.
unfortunately, your ancestors were unpowerful beyond their intellect and aura vision. physically, they were weak – protected only by the hunters. because of this, there was .. an accident. the demons found the weaknesses of the hunters – their darling researchers, so they did what demons would do.
thousands of years of pages and books and studies were lost in their attack. most information was mentally stored by hunters, but a substantial amount was still lost in physical ink. in modern times, these researchers are almost myths to hunters – legends. however, mythology tales say that the descendents of the researchers have all knowledge of the honmoon and the demons sealed away by it. of course, it remained apart of the stories celine told rumi, mira, and zoey growing up ... all until they met you.
they met you at a hidden pastry shop in seoul, hidden in an alleyway around the same area as that wack doctor zoey had so much faith in
it was the only place open after practice and rumi, as tired as she was, guided the girls in to enjoy the warm lighting and atmosphere
after declining the offers to go to the bathhouse for the 100th time, she thought this could be the perfect way to make it up to them
she ordered a few treats – mochi for herself, a little apple pie for zoey, steamed red bean buns for mira, and matcha for them all
the girls talked quietly, waiting for their order, until you called rumi up to retrieve the neatly wrapped box of sweets
when she came up to you, your fingers wrapped around her wrist, cold and startling
"i'm not sure how you got in here..", her eyes met yours, now void of the warmth you once held when she walked in, "but if a demon is ordering pastries from me, times must have changed." she shuttered under your hushed voice.
"d-demon...?" her skin was fully covered. even though her markings hadn't spread too far yet, she took precautions regardless, worried of the news that might ruin her relationships.
"i noticed your aura when you sat down. though, you don't seem that threatening... and the honmoon is completely intact aroun–"
"how do you..?" her eyes shook, almost pure horror behind them. there's tension between you two, fueled by her anxiety of being seen, of being exposed when her members were just right by the door. you studied her, her friends, and their auras alike, before you half smiled at her.
"my ancestors and yours were... very close." your voice rose, catching the attention of the pink and black haired girls. "do hunters not teach about researchers anymore?"
the three of them surrounded you quickly, eyes bright and curious
things like "we thought they were myths!!" and "you know about the honmoon!?" were thrown at you immediately
you debunked their mythology left and right, spending an hour after closing chatting with them
they felt.. seen? YOU felt seen!
you could finally talk to others about your aura vision and they could FINALLY get their hunter secrets off their chest
maybe it wasn't the best idea to spill it all in such a public place but who else would listen ?
celine got a very chaotic phone call later that night
and you? you got an invite to a luxurious penthouse and a few new friends
since then, you've helped them immensely
your memory was working like an endless library of information
you'd show them old diagrams your greatest great great great great grandparents had tucked away
discuss old journals that survived the attacks that became family heirlooms
told them fun facts about demons
especially to zoey, who seemed very intrigued by the fact that all demons had a weak spot in their chests due to their lack of personal souls
even, eventually, helped rumi tell the girls about her marks
zoey and mira were stunned in silence. rumi's arms were exposed, hands shaking in anxious terror, but you were right by her side. celine told her to always hide them but .. you understood. you accepted her mere minutes after meeting her. maybe the girls would do the same.
"rumi is.. something fascinating." you admitted. it sounded blunt, but you expressed it with a look of soft excitement. "she has mixed blood – the marks of a demon, the voice, soul, and heart of a hunter. she's never once lied about the kindness of her heart... the traits of hunters overpower any demon urges." you spoke for rumi as she stood there, feeling naked and scared under the judging eyes of her closest friends. "she's a pure experiment – but she's no less rumi. her aura proves that."
it took a few hours of conversations, explanations from both you, the expert, and her, the secret holder, but eventually, zoey and mira engulfed her in a hug – promising to keep the secret contained between the four of you. not even telling celine, in case she got them all in trouble. the golden honmoon was so close.. they'd be able to do this together, especially now that they have you.
during the events of the movie, they needed you a lot
but the last thing they wanted was a repeat of the accident
so they kept you their secret weapon ! working with you behind the scenes and away from the actual action
when the saja boys grabbed everyone's attention with their beautiful bodies and alluring voices, you were staring at their markings, especially at the joint fansigning they held
jinu noticed you about as much as he noticed bobby – just another person on staff
that is until he noticed how you stared at him
not ogling, but studying,, writing things down in the notebook you carried, covered in huntrix stickers
be lucky he noticed you over baby or mystery, otherwise you may have been targeted by their powers to throw you and huntrix off
he asked about you to rumi once .. the "mysterious person" on their staff that "always wrote in that notebook"
she was more worried about your safety than opening up to him but .. she thought..
if you helped her reveal herself to huntrix, maybe you could help jinu and the saja boys ?
they never expressed wanting help but she couldn't help but think about it
you hopped on board with her plan in secret, working on ways out of their servitude to gwima
it took a while but you figured that if you could channel your aura vision and hold them above the honmoon when it sealed, they could be healed of their marks too, human disguises left in tact.
it was only a matter of time before you tried it out.
The most intimate thing in bed
tags: soft nsfw, emotional intimacy, demons in love, tenderness after sex
cast: huntrix, saja boys (abby, mystery, romance) × reader
Mira
Mira stretches lazily in bed. Her legs are tangled with yours. She doesn’t bother covering her bare body — no point hiding from you. After all these nights, you know every inch of her skin — from freckles to faded scars.
She’s so easy with you like this. No makeup, hair a mess, that hoarse morning voice. A sharp contrast to the version on stage — bold, fierce, fire in her eyes. And you lose it over her, either way.
You move, trying to get up. She’s got training early tomorrow. But Mira, like always, catches your wrist.
“Don’t be stupid. Stay.”
She wraps her legs around you, keeps you down. That smirk, like a dare: “Go ahead. Try.” She doesn’t say it out loud, but her eyes make it clear — you’re no longer just a secret fling. You’re closer than family.
And if that bond weren’t real — if for even a second she felt out of place — Mira wouldn’t ask you to stay.
Rumi
Rumi is sitting in your lap. Her fingers tremble slightly as she ties fabric over your eyes. You don’t ask why. You don’t press her for an explanation.
And when you can’t see anymore, she lets out a quiet breath — and starts taking off her clothes. For the first time, she reveals her tattoos in front of someone else.
You feel warm thighs tighten around yours. Hear her uneven breathing. You stay still.
And Rumi, raised in the flash of paparazzi from childhood, suddenly believes — without doubt — that you won’t try to peek. That the thought hasn’t even crossed your mind.
She’s not hiding anymore, because she knows: you don’t want to take anything from her by force. Not like the demons who stole beloved fans. Not like her foster mother, who simply told her she was now a hunter.
You let her choose. And she chooses to stay.
Zoey
Zoey is lying on top of you. Sweaty, sticky. Her hair’s a mess. Lips swollen from kissing.
Silence fills the room. Usually, this is when she asks, “Well? Am I still good?” Cracks a joke even if she’s tired, makes a cute face, laughs. Then grabs her phone to check socials, sees missed calls from her manager.
But right now — she just lies there, settling into your breath. Not performing, not dazzling. Not watching your face for approval.
You take her hand — she doesn’t pull away. Run your fingers through her hair, nuzzle into the top of her head, shift her to rest more comfortably on you. She melts completely.
Little by little, Zoey starts to believe that maybe there’s no need for questions. Because the answer’s always the same: you love her not for the performance, but simply for her.
Abs Saja
Abby is all muscle. Big, solid, with the kind of abs that drive his fans wild.
And you press into him softly, trustingly, like he’s not a dangerous demon who could break you with a single move. You breathe against his cold neck and hold onto his shoulders, trying to match his rhythm.
Abby freezes. He wants to be gentle with you. Not fuck — but protect. Even if it’s from himself, or the world he was born into. That feeling is completely foreign to him.
But now that he’s realized it, you can feel the shift. He holds, not squeezes. Pulls you close, but carefully. And when he whispers your name in your ear, it’s not to turn you on — it’s to calm you down.
To remind himself that with you, it has to be different. That you’re something precious.
Mystery Saja
Mystery told you right away he was a demon. First date, over cocktails, no buildup. You either accept it, or there’s no romance here.
You still can’t tell if he was trying to push you away like some obsessive fangirl — or genuinely chose to open up. Maybe he just needed to know you loved him, not some sugar-coated fantasy.
But really, it wasn’t a test. For him, trust is the only way to end up in bed with someone. Not just physical, but emotional nakedness too.
Mystery notices how at first you flinch when claws trace your spine — then start to enjoy it. You used to turn away from kisses, scared he’d suck out your soul through them. Now, after a few times, you chase his dry lips, demand tongue.
Mystery would never hurt you. And that slow-growing trust — in tiny, wordless ways — that realization that it’s truly safe with him? That means more to him than sex ever could.
Romance Saja
Romance flirts and teases. He reaches for attention like a gentle cat for a pair of hands. He poses with fans, waves into cameras, winks with a smile.
But in his demon form, he’s exhausted. Truly. So worn out he can’t even lift his hands to form a heart for the crowd.
And maybe that’s why he values — though he’ll never say it aloud — that with you, things can be slow and relaxed. Arching his back with a sigh, lazily brushing his hair aside.
And you know Romance isn’t human. He just said “I’m a demon” when he leaned over you. Wanted to see how you’d react. If you’d be scared he’d steal your soul, or maybe laugh it off. But your simple “I know” made him flinch — and then quietly smile.
Because people think if it’s a demon, it must be wild sex. Clothes torn off, thrown on the floor, shoved up against a wall before even making it to the bed.
But Romance never fit into those expectations. He likes it slow and deliberate, after a long, tired day, ideally with you on top. And the fact that you don’t expect anything else — that’s a gift to him.
Takedown
Polytrix x reader (Kpop Demon Hunters)
Prompt: When Rumi falls victim to a devastating panic attack triggered by a demon who takes the shape of someone from her past, you throw yourself in to protect her, only to be struck brutally in the head. Your girls panic.
TW: fainting, passing out, panic attack.
Being an idol means sacrifice, passion, commitment. Being an idol is difficult, scary, but it also means bringing something to the world, and as Huntrix, that is your destiny. Idols by day and hunters by night, demons sliced by your blades and stolen kisses between kills, while the Honmoon grows stronger with every blow you strike.
Celine took you under her wing at the same time Zoey and Mira were recruited. Then you met that little girl with purple hair and a shy gaze, with deeply sad eyes, and your innocent feelings, over the years, with success, with sleepless nights spent defeating demons and rehearsing songs, had turned into a feeling so pure and powerful that every caress you gave her strengthened the Honmoon, though hidden from everyone's eyes except yours.
As hunters, your job was to defeat demons; as Huntrix, your job was to dominate the stage, hiding the diversity of a pure but unconventional love like yours, a bit like you. Rumi's "tattoos," the scars on your arms, Mira's past, Zoey's insecurities... a hymn to diversity itself, a hymn to yourselves.
You sigh, rolling your eyes as you look at what is supposed to be your new seamstress for the new tour.
"Okay, you're literally holding the needle the wrong way around, and you're supposed to be our seamstress... you're a demon, aren't you?"
"What? No, I don't know what you're talking about, I..."
You uncover her arms, revealing the typical marks and shaking your head in disapproval.
"I don't understand why you keep doing this. You should have figured it out by now. First learn the craft, then come to Earth. It should be easy, yet you idiots keep making the same mistakes over and over again. It's getting tiresome."
You snort in boredom, making the four shuriken (ninja stars) appear in your hands. You twirl them between your fingers and, as you watch the now-transformed demon in front of you, you notice three other brutes joining the party out of the corner of your eye. Rumi, Zoey, and Mira should be coming through that door any minute, but until then, you'll have to fend for yourself.
"If most of you weren't so stupid as to not even learn human customs and traditions, I'd almost feel sorry for killing you. Almost."
The seamstress demon attacks you, but you easily dodge it, letting one of your stars stick into its forehead, turning it to dust. You hear Zoey's voice echoing in the hallway, turn toward the door, and see familiar purple hair peeking into the room. The distraction is enough for one of the three remaining demons to throw you against the wall, hitting your head so hard that you see nothing but darkness for a few minutes.
Rumi is the first to spring into action, conjuring her saingeom and running towards you, but the demon that hit you blocks her path. Before any of the three of them can finish it off, turn it to dust, and send it back to the hell it came from once and for all, it transforms into Jinu, and Rumi freezes. The saingeom slips from her hands, crashing to the floor with a loud thud; the hunter falls to her knees and Zoey and Mira quickly rush to her side, while four more demons emerge from a crack in the ceiling.
"Rumi! It's not real, it's not really Jinu!"
Zoey grunts as three of her shin-kal pierce a demon's throat.
"Rumi! Get up!"
"They know what you are, Rumi. Your secret has been revealed, your marks are shining—"
The Jinu demon smirks as he moves closer, and Mira strikes him in the calf with her gok-do, causing him to stumble back a few steps.
"Don't you dare touch her."
Her eyes burn with fire, her hands clenching the gok-do with such force and rage that her knuckles turn white.
In the chaos, you finally regain consciousness. The demons have almost tripled in number in the room, and your eyes immediately fall on the hyperventilating figure of one of your girls. With a grunt, you stand up, make the shuriken reappear in your right hand, and start killing as many demons as possible—considering your current aim, very few—in a desperate attempt to reach Rumi before the situation worsens.
Mira and Zoey glance at you briefly before returning to the fight. They are concerned but unable to assist you at this moment.
You collapse to your knees in front of the purple-haired girl, ignoring the throbbing in your head as you gently caress her cheeks.
"Rumi, my love, look at me."
She doesn't answer you, she doesn't even look at you; her chest rises and falls at an alarming rate and your heart sinks at the sight. A demon approaches and you barely have time to strike him, a second before he hits you. Out of the corner of her eye, Mira notices two of your shuriken missing their target, and her stomach clenches. You never miss your target, never, under any circumstances. Something is wrong.
"Rumi, it's okay, Jinu is free, it's not your fault. We love you, we know about your marks, and we love you. Love, please, breathe with me."
You grab one of her hands and bring it to your chest, deliberately exaggerating your breathing to get the other girl to follow suit.
"Breathe, love, breathe; that's it, good girl."
You hold her in your arms, she's still shaking, but now the broken gasps she was making a few seconds ago are deeper and less raspy. That's enough for now.
"It's okay, it's okay, we love you, all of you. There's not a single part of you that we don't love, Rumi."
Your girlfriend clings to your arm, holding on to it as if it were her anchor, and in that fleeting moment you notice a demon running towards you. Mira and Zoey notice it too, but they are too far away to reach you.
"Rumi, watch out!"
You scream, pushing her out of the way. You summon two shuriken but miss the target, summon two more but your vision blurs; you don't see it coming, you don't even hear it. You can barely hear the muffled screams of Mira, Zoey, Rumi... The demon hits you with a dull thud on the back of your head and the world explodes into a painful red and white blur, like a camera flash projected inside your skull.
You stagger forward, then backward, your knees buckling like wet paper under your weight, the shuriken slipping from your hands and falling to the floor.
A high-pitched buzzing whistles in your ears. The lights become blurred, overlapping. You bend forward, one hand on your head and the other desperately searching for something to hold on to. But there is only air, and you fall. The floor welcomes you with unexpected violence, and the moment your temple hits the marble, you lose consciousness.
"Shit, shit, shit. Y/n!" Zoey screams, turning around for just a second before a demon attacks her, forcing her to look away from you.
"Rumi! Rumi, you have to take care of her, we'll take care of the demons."
The purple-haired girl hurries over, takes your face in her hands, and brushes the sweat from your forehead.
"Y/n, love, love, wake up, you have to wake up."
Her slender fingers frantically slide over your wrist, searching for a pulse. Then she lifts your eyelids, checking the responsiveness of your pupils. Her fingers tremble, her chest hurts, the consequences of the panic attack are taking their toll.
Meanwhile, the room has become a Dantean circle, filled with demonic screams and sliced flesh, turned to dust. Zoey advances like a bullet, using her concern for you as a trigger, the shin-kal are like liquid tentacles that tear and divide the demons. Next to her, Mira moves with awkward and brutal elegance: a gok-do strike, a sharp blow, a growl—on her part, of course—and another demon implodes under her weapon.
Rumi remains kneeling, her eyes unable to tear themselves away from your unconscious form, her hands wandering over your body, tears streaming down her face.
"Love, wake up."
The purple-haired girl leans over you and rubs her knuckles hard on your sternum; Celine had taught you that this technique was one of the fastest ways to revive an unconscious person. A small moan escapes your lips as you blink, trying to focus your vision.
For a single, terrible moment, you don't remember where you are, but then a glance at Rumi's worried, tear-stained face and the sound of Mira and Zoey's weapons cutting through the air in the room bring you back to reality.
"The demons! We, I..."
You try to get up, or at least sit up, but Rumi shakes her head, her eyes wide as she pushes her hands against your chest to keep you lying on the floor.
"No! No, don't try that, take it easy. You have a concussion and I still have to check your head."
Her voice trembles, tears still streaming down her cheeks, and despite the pain in your head, you sit up and hug her.
"You did well, love, everything's fine, breathe okay? Keep breathing for me."
You glance at Mira and Zoey and realize they won't make it on their own.
"Rumi, hey, listen to me; I have to help them, you sing, repair the crack."
You caress her cheek, smile at her, and then slowly approach her, leaving a sweet kiss on her lips before summoning your shuriken, joining your other two companions.
You grit your teeth and ignore the pain, praying that your body will hold out a little longer before finally giving way.
I don't think you're ready for the takedown
"Zoey, get down!"
One of your shuriken sticks into the throat of the demon that was about to attack the lyricist from behind and dissolves it into dust.
"Y/n! You should rest, sweetheart, don't stay here fighting."
Zoey approaches you, killing another demon and watching you do the same.
"You needed help, Rumi..."
Break you into pieces in a world of pain, 'cause you're all the same
You exchange glances, you don't need to speak. You both know you'll have to talk to her once this is all over.
Yeah, it's a takedown
"Y/n!" Mira quickly approaches you, and her relieved gaze rests on you, "you should-"
"...Rest, I know, I know. But I'm having so much fun killing these assholes."
You smile playfully as another of your shuriken sends the last demon in the room to the other world.
A demon with no feelings, don't deserve to live, it's so obvious
"Thankfully they're gone, I was getting tired."
Mira snorts, rolling her eyes, and makes her gok-do disappear with a wave of her hand. You and Zoey do the same with your weapons, and then all three of you turn to Rumi. She is still kneeling on the ground. She is out of breath from singing and most likely as a result of her earlier panic attack.
You nod to them, miming "go to her" with your lips.
"Hey sweetie, how are you feeling?"
Zoey sits down beside her, stroking her arm and trying to catch her eye, and Mira does the same; she sits down behind her and hugs her, resting her chin on her right shoulder.
"I-I'm fine, I'm sorry, I'm so sorry, I-it's my fault, I shouldn't have let-."
"Rumi, hey, hey, it's okay. It's not your fault, sweetie, it's not your fault."
You say and take a step towards them, focusing solely on changing your sweet and innocent Rumi's mind. A wave of dizziness hits you and the pain intensifies rapidly.
Without the hand that was supporting you against the wall, the only reason your body hasn't collapsed to the ground until now, your legs give way and your vision blurs. Your knees hit the floor, and your head would have too if it weren't for Zoey's lightning-fast reflexes.
"Y/N!"
Their cries are muffled sounds, as if you were underwater; you're not completely unconscious, but you're not fully aware of what's going on around you either.
"Honey, honey, wake up."
Zoey shakes you by the shoulders, her lips trembling as she struggles not to cry. You are pale, your chest rising and falling too slowly for her liking, and the terrified look on Mira's face tells her that the situation is serious.
"Zoey, Zoey, you have to be gentle. Check her head, see if she has any bumps, okay?"
The redhead is still holding the purple-haired girl in her arms, preventing her from falling apart and blaming herself for what happened. That's the last thing she needs right now.
The rapper's hands wander through your hair, finding not one but two bumps, one of which is bleeding.
"Damn, she's bleeding, shit,"
Zoey mutters, then tears off a piece of her uniform and presses it against the cut on your head.
"M-Mira... she'll be okay, right?"
Rumi whispers, clinging to the older girl, and Mira can only nod, hugging her a little tighter as she prays to the gods that she's not lying.
.....................................................................................................................
After the girls brought you back to your apartment, you spent hours drifting in and out of consciousness. The first time you woke up, it wasn't a pleasant awakening. In fact, you woke up because Mira shook you until you opened your eyes.
"Y/n, you can't sleep, love, come on..."
A small moan escaped your lips, tears forming in the corners of your eyes without you being able to stop them.
"What... Mira, what?"
"You hit your head, love, do you remember?"
The second time you woke up, two hours later, it was because of a painful massage on your sternum, which you tried to free yourself from by unconsciously summoning your shuriken.
"Woah tiger, take it easy with those."
Mira had snatched them from your hands and thrown them across the room. You looked up and saw the culprit behind that painful massage.
"Rumi, stop, stop, my head hurts... I just want to sleep."
"It'll pass, sweetheart, it'll pass."
You whimpered, and Rumi held back a sob, leaning over you to kiss your forehead. Then she, Mira, and Zoey exchanged worried glances before you fell unconscious again.
The third time you woke up, it was because of a loud conversation that had disturbed your sleep.
"We have to take her to the hospital, she needs a CT scan."
"She's so stubborn... she won't let us take her to the hospital." Mira shook her head, glancing quickly at you.
"I know, damn it, but she can't stay awake for more than five minutes. We have to do something. She took a bad blow, and if she has a brain hemorrhage and we don't notice it in time..."
"I'm fine," you muttered, rubbing your eyes, "Celine..."
"We don't talk to Celine anymore, love. Remember?" Zoey said, and you looked at her confusedly before throwing up the contents of your stomach onto the floor.
..……………………………...................................................................................
After seven hours of intermittent wakefulness, you regain consciousness. Slowly. You blink, move your arms and find them sore, before noticing the same in your legs. You look around, there is no one in the room and the only noise is the traffic of Seoul in the background. You sit up slowly and then swing your legs out of bed. As soon as your feet touch the floor, a chill runs down your spine.
"What are you thinking of doing? Don't even try it."
Mira's hands push you back onto your back and you snort.
"I feel better, love."
"Yeah, well... we haven't slept for 10 hours to make sure you don't have a fucking brain hemorrhage, that your chest is still rising, so stay the fuck still."
You sigh, abandoning all attempts to escape. You look at Mira, her shoulders tense, dark circles under her eyes, and the look of a caged tiger expecting someone to hurt her at any moment.
"Mira?"
"Mm."
"Love, look at me."
You manage to grab her hand, tugging it slightly to force her to look at you.
"I'm fine, Mira, I'm fine. Sure, it feels like someone played football with my head, but I'm here, I'm talking to you."
Mira remains silent for a few moments, her breathing still too rapid, her heart pounding beneath her skin. But finally, she lets out a long sigh and sits down on the edge of the bed, next to you. Her fingers brush your cheek and then intertwine with yours.
She can't take her eyes off you, as if to make sure you're really there, really alive.
You hear a rustle and the door to the room opens slightly, creaking.
Zoey enters first, her hair messy and still wearing her crew sweatshirt. She looks different—more vulnerable, as if she had been forced to look too closely at what she wasn't ready to lose. Behind her, Rumi tiptoes in. She is wearing a loose-fitting T-shirt and her bare legs are shaking; her hair is not tied back in her usual braid but loose and damp on her shoulders.
"Is she awake?" Zoey asks, turning to Mira. Her voice is little more than a whisper as they both approach the bed.
"Present, more or less."
You smile, raising your hand playfully, and before you can put it down, Zoey screams and jumps on you.
"Zoey! Take it easy."
"It's okay, Mira," you chuckle, hugging the girl in your arms and kissing her shoulders as you hold her close.
"You had us so worried, you were awake intermittently, you almost choked on your vomit, and you couldn't remember anything, not even Celine and-"
"Zo, breathe, it's okay, I'm here now. I'm sorry I scared you."
You feel your shirt starting to get wet and realize that Zoey is crying.
"Don't ever do that again. Google says you could have had a seizure and I searched in the forum that—"
"Zoey, sweetheart, we've already talked about this. When you're scared, you're not allowed to look it up on Google, you know that."
"I know, I know, but..." Zoey's voice trembles, as does her body in your arms, "...but you were there, motionless, and you weren't reacting. You weren't breathing properly, y/n. I didn't know what to do. And I—
Zoey stops abruptly. Her voice cracks and her fingers cling to your arm as if she's afraid you might disappear again. Mira strokes her back with a slow hand, but doesn't speak. There's no need.
Then Rumi approaches. Tiny steps, almost trembling. Her hands clenched around the hem of her shirt, her knuckles white with tension.
"Can... can I come too?" she asks in a whisper.
You don't answer. You just reach out your arm toward her, slowly but surely, and Rumi doesn't hesitate any longer: she joins you and crouches down next to you, between you and Mira, resting her face against your shoulder and hugging you gently. Her fingers touch your skin as if she's afraid of breaking you.
"I'm sorry, I'm so sorry, it's my fault, I..."
Her voice trembles, her chin brushing your chest. You hug her tighter, one hand on the back of her neck, a light kiss in her hair.
"Rumi, love, hey... Do we ever apologize when one of us has a nightmare or an anxiety attack? You brought me back. You were brave."
"No... I'm not. I froze. I let them attack you. They used her face and I... I couldn't react."
Mira, who hadn't said anything until then, leans forward and gently takes her chin, forcing her to look her in the eyes.
"Despite everything, you kept fighting, Rumi. That's courage."
Zoey nods, tears still hanging on her eyelashes.
"Exactly. And then you calmed us all down. You sing, Ru. You keep us together. You're our anchor."
Rumi doesn't answer. She just nods, rubbing her nose against your shirt before letting herself go completely. Mira pulls her close, and Zoey hugs you from behind, her arms around your waist. You find yourselves like this: a knot of intertwined bodies on the bed, tired, bruised, still trembling but united. Your heartbeats slowly synchronize. The silence is no longer empty, but filled with your shared breathing.
You close your eyes, just for a second, a twinge in your temple forcing you to do so, and when you open them again, you find Zoey watching you.
"Do you know what scared me the most?" she asks softly, her voice barely vibrating as she looks at you worriedly. You shake your head slowly, your mouth dry, the twinge still throbbing behind your left eye.
Zoey takes a breath, lowers her gaze for a moment, then raises it again.
"That you didn't remember Celine. That... you weren't you anymore. As if something had erased you. As if... we had lost you before we even really lost you."
A heavy silence falls over all of you, like a shroud. Rumi hugs you tighter, and Mira does the same. You swallow.
"Celine raised us," more out of habit than conviction. "She taught us everything. She taught us how to survive, but—"
"Not how to live. Not how to love. Not like this." Mira whispers. The words come out slowly but firmly. "We've moved on. In every way. And now we can stop looking back."
Rumi sniffs, then speaks in a whisper:
"So we can stop being afraid of who we are?"
"Yes, Ru. We can," you murmur. "We are the Huntrix. We are real. It's the four of us."
Zoey smiles through her tears, reaches out and intertwines her hand with yours. Mira does the same with Rumi's. You stay like that for a few minutes, your fingers intertwined like broken rings that finally fit together.
Then Rumi yawns softly, almost shyly.
"I feel... exhausted."
"We're all exhausted," Mira murmurs, pulling her close.
You cuddle up, but not before Rumj checks your pulse and Mira checks her blood pressure.
"I think that's enough."
"You gave us a heart attack, so now you're going to get checked out and you're not complaining. Got it?"
You smile slightly, shaking your head in exasperation. Then you reach over to the redhead and kiss her on the shoulder. Mira stops, her fingers pressed against your wrist, and looks at you. They finish checking you and then lie down beside you.
"I love you," says the redhead, pressing a kiss on your lips.
"I love you more," adds Zoey.
"I love you most of all," murmurs Rumi, already half asleep in your arms.
And in that small, warm room, filled with silence and unspoken words, four hearts beat as one.
Four hunters. Four idols. Four souls.
One Honmoon.

# RUMI
Rumi's fingertips dig into the metal railing behind her, her knuckles turning white. The other tangles in your hair, tugging it to keep her from tipping backward. Glowing patterns that trace over her body's contours and along her skin gradually fade and reappear.
One leg hooks over your shoulders, drawing you in closer as you lap at the swollen flesh, teasing the sensitive bud before dipping through the soaking folds. She tastes like you remember—sweet and rich—and you're greedy, eager to drink her all in as Rumi's moans fill your ears, echoing off the city lights.
“Ngh...baby—” Rumi whimpers, rolling her hips against the tip of your tongue. “W-what if someone sees us?”
Humming, you look up at her, mumbling, “Let them,” breath fanning over the soft flesh as your hands move to rest on her ass, squeezing. Her eyes meet yours, half-lidded, cheeks flushed, lips parted in heavy pants. The sight sends a low thrum of heat between your legs.
Rumi's teeth sink into her bottom lip, struggling to stay relatively quiet. “You...you're ridiculous.” But despite the words, she spreads her legs further, your tongue swiping up in a long, slow drag before moving to her bundle, swirling in a circular pattern. “Mmmh, god—” The sharp gasp tumbles from her mouth, her grip on the railing loosens as her back arches against the cold metal.
The way she's moaning would've had your knees buckling if you weren't already on them. Smirking, you bring a hand up to press your palm into the top of her toned stomach, pinning her back against the railing, fingers pressing into the flesh of her ass. You run the flat of your tongue through her wetness, gently sucking and nipping at her swollen bud.
Rumi's thigh trembles against the sides of your face, leg slipping from your shoulders and almost losing her balance. Just barely, you manage to catch it, keeping her steady.
“Doing okay there, baby?”
The teasing lilt to your voice is met with a weak glare from one golden eye.
A retort is on the tip of her tongue, but it comes out as a breathy gasp when you greedily dig into her dripping folds, tracing every inch it can reach and slurping up any fluids that leak out of her pussy.
The fingers of her other hand continue to grip your hair as you lavish her with attention. Rumi tries to push you away, only to push her hips forward to ride your mouth, dabbing at the little bud, striking your tongue in alternating directions, and shaking your head back and forth.
Rumi's moans become higher pitched. And it's getting harder to ignore. Though you can't find it in you to care. It's not like you could stop even if you wanted to. Not when you're eating her out like you're dying.
Which you're not, thank goodness.
But the way her thigh is clenched around your head has you gasping for air. You pull your mouth back to suck in a quick breath.
A shaky whimper escapes her as you leave her pussy all on its own, and Rumi doesn't give you a moment to recover. She yanks you back by the hair, gasping an “D-don't stop— baby, please—” as your tongue dives back inside.
That sounds like a promise you're more than willing to keep.
So, you continue as you were, swirling around before dipping in and out. The ache in your jaw is ignored as you bury your face against her, eating her out as best you can. The only thing you're breathing in is the scent of her slick.
“Baby, baby, please, I'm— I'm gonna— ah—!”
Rumi lets go of her grip on the back of your head to cover her mouth in a vain attempt to muffle the sudden cry that escapes as she comes all over your tongue. Lapping it up, you slowly bring her through her orgasm, not wanting a single drop to go to waste until she starts to squirm from the sensitivity.
Her hand falls away from her mouth. Chest heaving with the effort to catch the breath that she lost.
You kiss her inner thighs before standing up, wiping her juices and saliva off of your chin with the back of your hand.
Before you can ask if she's okay, she suddenly grabs your face in her hands, then smashes her mouth against yours. Her tongue slides in, moaning at the taste of herself on you. Wrapping your arms around her, Rumi slowly pushes you back until your back hits the glass door.
There's a sharp, sudden edge of teeth as she bites your lip, tugging on it before letting it go and moving down to your neck. Hands grabbing wherever they can touch, feeling her claws against your skin.
“Rumi...”
“Bed,” she practically growls. “Bed. Please.”
# ZOEY
“Mmmh—” Zoey bites her lip as she lowers her pussy down onto your face, nose rubbing against the tuft of raven hair between her legs as she grinds her heat against your mouth. She's dripping so much that you can feel it trailing down the curve of your chin. “F-feel good, but— hnn— not enough. I need more, honey.”
Her thighs flex and quiver as your tongue flattens, licking at her slick, swollen cunt, tasting the sweetness that always seems to spill out. She tastes amazing as you do your best to try and satisfy her with just your mouth—and god, does she show her appreciation. Moaning and gasping and tugging on your hair.
“Oh, sweetheart,” Zoey moans out. “You do it so well— fuck, such a good, good girl.”
She then grabs your hands from her hips, placing them on her breast. One hand covers yours, encouraging you to squeeze and play with the soft flesh and roll at the perked-up nipple.
“Keep your hands busy, baby,” Zoey pants, rocking her hips onto your face, using it and your tongue to get off.
The words you can get out are muffled by her slit, so you use your hands to communicate. Kneading and fondling the flesh in your palm, then pinching at the hardened bud.
The ravenette's head tilts back, breaths coming in ragged gasps while you continue to eat her out, licking at her dripping folds and flicking your tongue over her clit. Each roll of her hips has you moaning into her, the sound going straight to her core as Zoey begins to move faster against your mouth.
Though the low hum of voices and laughter just outside has you worried.
As if reading your mind, her hand finds the back of your head and forces you closer. “Focus on me.”
And despite the risks, the fear of getting caught, you do just that. Focusing wholly on Zoey. Moving your arms, firmly wrapping them around her thighs, and holding her down. Tongue moving faster, circling and sucking the tiny, throbbing bud into your mouth.
The need to bring Zoey to the edge makes you careless, the only thing on your mind being focused on giving the ravenette the satisfaction and pleasure she deserves.
Ignoring the sounds of the girls' conversation and laughter drifting from the living room, you give it your all. Licking her over and over at a rapid pace, dragging back and forth along her drooling pussy, matching the rhythm of her hips.
Zoey's grip tightens in your hair, pulling at it as she throws her head back, thighs trembling around your head. One of your hands trails down, thumb playing underneath the hood of her clit as she keeps fucking your face.
“Ah, please, fuck, fu— ah— honey, I'm gonna—” Her breath hitches, hips stuttering. “Fuuucckkk—!” Zoey cries out, grinding frantically against your tongue as she comes so hard she sees stars, squirting small bursts of clear fluid over your mouth.
You lick up every drop that's given to you, cleaning up her essence as she braces herself on the headboard, tongue working to draw out her orgasm until her body sags and she's gasping for air.
Breathing heavily, Zoey slowly lifts off your face, then looks down on your lips, coated in her slick, glistening on your chin in the lamplight.
Her lips curl into a smile, thumb tracing your lower lip, smearing the mess she had made before collapsing down beside you and pulling you with her. Arms and legs tangled together, you lie on top of her, calming your racing heart.
“Wow...” you murmur. “I can't believe we did that with them just outside the door.”
Zoey combs her fingers through your hair, head tilting sideways as she presses a few kisses along the top of your head. “Well, they're still out there, so I guess we'll have to be quiet then?”
You snort. “You're the loudest one between us, babe, not me.”
You pull back just a bit to look at her, then let out a surprised noise when she suddenly rolls the two of you over, pinning you down.
“Hey!” You huff. “We need to be quiet, remember?”
“So shush.”
“But—” you try to protest but are quickly cut short as Zoey starts to crawl down your body, settling between your spread thighs. “...okay...quiet it is…”
# MIRA
“It's...it's been ah— while.”
Mira manages to keep her voice down, breath hitching when you circle your tongue over her clit. Moaning softly and gripping the couch cushions with one hand, she reaches down with the other to run her fingers through your hair and push you into her.
“Mmmh, so good, my love— ah— eager to please me, aren't you?”
As always.
You nod slightly—as much as you can at this angle—nose buried in the rosy hair decorating her pussy. Keeping her legs spread open with your hands, you continue to feast on her flesh, flicking the tip of your tongue in little figure eights on her entrance to the tune of her soft moans and gasps. Gathering the sweet, musky taste before moving to the swollen bud once again.
Her chest rises and falls as her breathing gets heavier, one leg hooked over your shoulders and one foot resting on the couch.
Biting her lip, the model bucks her hip against your face. “Fuck...” Mira groans, clenching and fluttering with each pass of your tongue. “You...hah...you're always so good at this, baby,” she says affectionately, stroking your head like she would to a cat. “You love me that much?”
Nodding eagerly, you pull away just enough to respond with a raspy, “I love you a lot,” and immediately dive back in. Lapping at her in long strides from her entrance, her taste coats the inside of your tongue, then back up to her sensitive little nub as your grip on her thighs tightens to hold them in place.
Mira opens her mouth, but whatever she wants to say is cut off when a surprised gasp escapes her as you switch up and start licking her with little kitten licks. She whines at the sudden change of pace, hips canting forward, eyes fluttering shut as the sound of your tongue slurping fills the room, mixing in with her moans.
And as cute as those sounds look on that pretty face of hers, she's got to keep a bit quiet since Rumi and Zoey are already sleeping.
The urge to tease her is too hard to resist—you love having her like this: desperate and needy. Mira loves being dominant, and most of the time, you're all too happy to let her, but there's nothing that turns you on as much as Mira begging for you.
Still, since the others are already asleep, you're being nice, and you don't want to wake them up, so you focus on giving her your best effort instead.
One hand shifts from her thighs to slide up her llama pajama dress, and you press the heel of your palm on her quivering stomach to hold it as you close your lips over the flush nub of her clit, sucking on it hungrily.
“Mmnph—” A moan gets caught in her throat as you keep fucking her pussy with your tongue. The leg on your shoulder tightens, back arching off the couch. “Oh, fuck—” Mira sucks in a sharp breath, hips rocking in time with your movements, her hand tugging your hair harder.
Her legs twitch and tremble. Then, without a warning, Mira presses her thighs together, squeezing your face in between as she comes with a silent scream, eyes rolling back.
With the thighs you've grown to love so much trapping your head, you don't move until Mira relaxes and goes boneless on the couch before you pull back, lips glistening, strands of her juices dripping down your chin and staining the couch.
Mira props herself up with one arm behind her, trying to bring herself back to Earth. Finally, she looks down on you, and as soon as she notices your messy chin and mouth, her tongue pokes out to lick along her bottom lip, eyes locked on yours as she does so. Her hand moves to your chin, wiping off some of her slick and pressing the fluid against your lips.
And in a demanding tone, Mira orders, “Suck. Lick it off. Show me how much you love the taste, hm?”
No command to resist.
Eagerly, you stick out your tongue to lick her fingers clean, the salty taste on your tongue, and you can see the excitement in her gaze as her breathing continues to even. A light squeeze to your chin, she pulls away her hand and motions for you to come up to her.
You push yourself up and onto her lap, straddling her, arms automatically wrapping around her neck.
She runs her hands down your back. “Don't worry about the couch. I'll clean it in the morning. Let's go to bed.” Mira kisses your neck then whispers, “You deserve a reward for being such a good girl for me.”

“There are only a few awards left to be given to some truly incredible artists!” Minjun says almost like he’s sad it’s nearly over.
“Oh absolutely,” Seyeon nods enthusiastically. “You know what I look most forward to?”
“What’s that, Seyeon?”
“The performance the next winner will be giving us!”
“Oh my, you’re right!” Minjun gasps in playful realization. “And it’s for none other than the ‘Heartfelt Voice Award’! I hope you guys are ready to cry. Because I sure am!”
“Wait…” panic settles into my chest. “Can- can you guys-“ I can't finish as breathing becomes to difficult. Even if it wasn’t certain yet, I couldn’t stop the panic at having to perform so unexpectedly.
“What’s wrong?” Romance asks, noticing the fast rising and falling of my chest.
“-Undo it.”
“Undo what?” Miras voice is laced with worry.
“I- I,” I stammer, my eyes not leaving the hosts as an envelope is brought to them. Watching the envelope like I can see through it and read the name on it.
“Hey, it’s okay,” Rumi pulls me into her chest, grounding me. “Take a deep breath,” she takes one waiting for me to take one with her. Then gently lets it out, I do the same but mine is shaky. “Try again.”
“I can’t perform,” I whisper, voice trembling, shaking my head finally turning to look at her. “I can’t do this.”
“Sure you can!” Jinu says with a confident grin on his face. I just shake my head.
“Y/N!!” The shout of my name startles me. I freeze, eyes returning to the stage. My picture presented on the big screen. The hosts look somewhat puzzled. As do I.
There is polite clapping as Rumi gently nudges me to get up. I leave my small clutch with them, looking back at them as I hesitantly start walking. “You’ve got this!” Zoey says giving me two thumbs up, beaming.
“She wasn’t supposed to win,” it’s a grumble that she doesn’t hear while she slowly makes her way to the stage. But the others do. Eight pairs of eyes turn toward the voice. Jaewon. Staring daggers at the back of his head. None of them say anything… but the message is clear. Standing up, clapping louder than anyone else in the room. A push. A warning. And she needs it. Every last bit of it.
My legs feel like they might give out with every step I take, my heart still bounding in my chest. Once I reach the stage and am given the award I awkwardly stand in front of the mic. “Thank you, I-“ my words falter, my eyes meeting a glaring Jaewon. But then excited movement from above him brings a smile to my face. A wave, encouraging smiles and a nod that says ‘you can do this’ from Jinu. “I didn’t expect to win tonight,” I say honestly. “But it is truly an honor, thank you so much to those who listen to my songs, support me and especially voted tonight,” looking at the award as the words settle within me. “Really… thank you,” Stepping back from the mic I’m met with more applause a bit more sincere this time.
“Let me take that real quick,” Seyeon says gently, taking the award from my hands. “Good luck!” With that she and Minjun disappear at the side of the stage. The lights dim just enough to shift the mood, and then my song starts playing. Closing my eyes, I take one last breath and sing.
Finally hit the ground I'm at the bottom now Never thought I could be this low Felt like falling down an endless hole No, I don't see the light And I don't hear God Crawling in the dark Now my limbs are cold Screaming out "Help" but it just echoes
A silence falls over the room. Everyone listening with bated breath. All consumed by the unexpected depth of my voice. By the ache woven into every note, the weight of words no one dares to speak out loud.
Only one way out of here I don't think I can reach it Everything I hold dear Erased by all of my demons My sorry is sincere I've just lost all of my reasons Reasons left to stay
When I open my eyes, I’m stunned to find I’ve become the center of attention. No one is talking, everyone is quite literally staring. Wide eyed, stunned faces, confused but pleasantly surprised. As if they expected a whisper but got a storm.
So, if this is goodbye Please, don't count my cry as a sin No, I don't wanna die But it keeps getting harder to live And I put up a fight But now I've got nothing to give So, if this is goodbye, goodbye, goodbye I hope someday to see you again
The song is emotional and raw. It captures everyone in the room even the ones who didn’t know her before this very moment. She had already captured their attention when she walked in. Clumsy, quiet, walking with uncertainty. But hearing her sing this song live, it hit different.
It’s like a string got pulled tight between them and her. A need to protect. To have. To understand. And something more dangerous; an obsession.
There's nothing you could've said Nothing you could've done different It was always between me and my head Never meant to hurt you in the process But I just can't keep holding on Wish I could believe that things will get better Wish I could just flip a switch in my mind Then I could fix how I feel altogether Then I could mean it when I say I'm fine It's never that easy and neither is life Don't think I wanted to leave you behind I tried, I tried, I tried
This song, it wasn’t for Jaewon. That much was obvious. But who was it to?
The answer.
Herself.
So, if this is goodbye Please, don't count my cry as a sin No, I don't wanna die But it keeps getting harder to live And I put up a fight But now I've got nothing to give Nothing, nothing So, if this is goodbye, goodbye, goodbye I hope someday to see you again If this is goodbye I'll see you If this is goodbye Open up my eyes I don't know where I am And everything is blurry My mom's holding my hand Turns out I was in a hurry But God had other plans He said my goodbye was early Now I've got a second chance
I stood in pure silence for a moment. Everyone shocked at the emotional impact this song had on them. In the end a couple of tears were shed.
“That… was…” Seyeon enters the stage once more. Tissue in hand. Letting out a sigh as she shakes her head struggling to find the right word. “… beautiful,” is what she settles for. That seems to put the room back in motion as applause suddenly, loudly rings around the room.
Startled, tears gather in my eyes. “Thank you,” I smile through tears.
“This award,” Minjun starts as he too returns. Holding up my award. “Is extremely well deserved,” I thank them once more before exiting the stage. Climbing my way back up the stairs. I’m stared at, even get a bow here and there as I pass them. I bow back like I don’t deserve their respect.
When I get back to my seat Zoey and Rumi are crying while Mira is obviously holding back her tears.
“That was so… ethereal,” Zoey sniffles. Standing up to pull me in a hug. “You deserved this award! Even if you didn’t think so.”
Taking her phone from her clutch while she talked to the girls was almost too easy. Even when she sat back down she hadn’t noticed how Baby easily manipulated the device to unlock with his demon powers. First he found her phone number, saving it in his own phone.
The causality of how he handled it and the guys keeping her distracted made it go unnoticed for much longer. The guys had quickly noticed what their maknae was up to. Making sure he would get it done. Easily installing spying software, hiding it from her, but making sure it worked from his own device. It wasn’t about invading her privacy. It was about keeping her safe.
By the time she reached for her clutch again, it was back in it place, exactly where she thought she’d left it. Missing the pointed look Mira gave the maknae as if to tell him he better share what he finds.
“Wow,” I sigh, grabbing my clutch, using it as a fan. “Thank you,” glancing both ways trying to meet their eyes. As I thank them for their - undeserved - support. “I would not have been able to do that if it wasn’t for you,” a blush tinting my cheeks but I blame it on the heat in here. In reality there is air conditioning in the room making sure everyone was comfortable.
“Of course,” Abby smirks, but I know he’s genuine.
“It’s nothing, you needed a push,” Mira shrugs casually. “You deserved it.”
“Thank you, anyway,” I make sure they know I’m being sincere. “But I really need the bathroom now,” I chuckle awkwardly receiving understanding chuckles back. Getting up I follow the signs to the bathroom.
Inside the bathroom, I take a moment to freshen up a bit, I look at myself in the mirror. A genuine smile still playing on my lips. “I did it,” I mutter, barely believing my own words. “I actually won.”
Taking my phone from my clutch, my notification wall is full. There are new followers on every social media platform I have. Mentions of my performance. Clips, screenshots, reactions. And of course all the posts the Saja Boys and Huntr/x created to support me and my song.
Mentions of my other songs too. People finding them, loving them. It makes me feel warm. Loved. Seen.
I exit the bathroom relax, distracted even. A bit too distracted apparently when I get the air literally knocked out of me. Pushed into the wall right at the archway to the venue hall.
“Wha-”
“Shut up!” I recognize the voice immediately. Anxiety lighting a fire in my being. Eyes wide, they find his. His face is contorted in anger. “You weren’t supposed to win,” his hand balls into a fist, rising, but he knows he’s still in public. Lowering the fist he grips my upper arm instead. Tight enough to create bruising, making me squirm and whine.
“Let go of me,” my voice is small. The fear in my eyes only making him chuckle.
“No, this is how you should have looked,” he continues, voices nearly growling the words at me. “I orchestrated this. Made sure you were nominated for a song no one even knew. Made it so you had to sit with those you looked up to,” tears form in my eyes. I knew it... I knew I shouldn’t have been here. His other hand lands on my shoulder, thumb laying at the base of my neck. Pressing hard, making it uncomfortable to talk or swallow.
It seems my arms decide that they now have the strength to try and push him away. But it doesn’t work. He’s stronger than me.
“You should have ran out of here, crying! Like the weakling you are,” his voice stays the same, unfazed by my trembling attempts to push him away from me. “How did you win?” there is real anger laced with genuine curiosity. Thumb pressing harder onto my throat.
“Because she deserves it,” the voice stuns both me and Jaewon. It’s Mystery. Before I can react, Jaewon quickly pulls me to his chest. I cough with the pressure now gone from my throat. He acts like he didn’t just have a bruising grip on me. Like all he wanted to do was hug me as a way to congratulate me on the win. Even if it was all a lie to protect his image.
The way Mystery was positioned had given Jaewon the false idea that no one had caught his cruel actions towards her. But Mystery knew. They all knew, even Huntr/x who were currently performing unable to protect what was theirs. Even if she didn’t know it yet.
“Oh, I wasn’t accusing,” Jaewon continues, feigning sincerity, but the sharp tone in his voice betrays him. “Congratulations on your win, Y/n,” the way he says my name. It's sharp and I know it’s a warning. Mystery takes my hand, pulling me closer to him so I’m not in Jaewon’s reach.
“Thanks,” it’s forced and breathless as it leaves my lips. I let Mystery lead me back to our seats. Trying to fake my confidence like nothing happened.
They all know something happened, but don’t point it out. From the way she walks and sits down stiffly. Trying to portray that genuine happiness she showed earlier. Only it doesn’t reach her eyes. They know now is not the time to talk about what they all witnessed. Instead, they watch quietly, guarding her in their own way.
The rest of the award show luckily goes by swimmingly. I hate to have to say goodbye to the eight who already meant a lot to me. Now more than I ever thought possible.
But I knew this was probably the first and only time I would get to talk to them. At least for a good while. The girls gave me a hug, squeezing me tightly. Letting me know once more that I deserved the win. I’m not sure how to say goodbye to the guys. Jinu just tsk’s, and pulls me in for a hug as well.
Even if he makes it seem nonchalant he can’t stop himself from breathing in her hair as she hugs him back.
Mystery makes sure to squeeze tightly, like a reminder that he’s there for her.
Baby playfully rolls his eyes at her, poking her sides to make her jump before giving his own hug. Gently petting the top of her head.
Abby smirks, teasing her. Saying that she only wants a hug so she can feel his abs. She chuckles genuinely, making all their hearts melt.
Last is Romance who will gladly take a hug, lingering for longer than needed. Placing a peck on her soft cheek, causing a soft flush to her face.
Missing the way the girls glare at the boys with envy.
My manager had been surprisingly quiet the next day. Normally he would start calling me the moment the sun woke.
Now it’s Monday, two days after the K-pop Rising Stars Awards. Still, it’s radio silence from my manager. I had messaged him myself to ask if he saw my win. He hadn’t even read it. Nothing.
With Luminara Entertainment right around the corner from the dorms, I headed there early. I needed answers. Arriving around 8 am, I waved at Juna at the reception desk. She smiled gently but there was something almost rehearsed in it. Shrugging off the feeling I head for the elevator making my way to Kyungsoo’s office.
Outside the office door I heard voices. So I at least knew he was in. Knocking softly on the wooden door, I wait. The conversation grew silent immediately. When Kyungsoo finally cracked the door open, his eyes barely met mine.
“Hey, I messaged, but I didn’t hear from you,” I tell him, confusion clear on my face. Partially because he’s just peeking out of a small slit in the door but mostly because I hadn’t heard from him.
“Y/n, I’m so sorry,” I can tell immediately that it’s not sincere. Voice flat, lacking his usually somewhat warmth. “I’ve just been really busy. Just continue working on your songs in the studio. I’ll check in with you soon,” before I could respond the door closed again.
Busy or not, it was clear I wasn’t a priority. He didn’t even congratulate me. Tension rose in my shoulders like something was up but I couldn’t put my finger on it.
His phone dings with a new familiar chime. Y/n opened her phone. Picking up his own from where it rested on the coffee table.
They had been given an off day after holding a concert on Sunday the day after the Award show. The five of them relaxing a bit. Though that wasn’t the only thing going on.
Mystery had done a full deep dive on Jaewon, turns out the only reason NIOR7 was doing as well as they were. Was because of daddy’s money.
Jinu, who sat next to Baby, recognized the sound too. All of them knew what it meant, having observed her activity since she left the venue. Including making sure she actually got home safe. Not leaving the outside of Luminara dorms until they saw her face in one of the windows.
A new message came in.
Jaewon Enjoying your win
She didn’t start typing, but didn’t move away from it either. Why had she not blocked him yet? As if she heard their thoughts, she excited the chat. Going to her blocked numbers. A list of at least seventeen blocked contacts showed up. All named Jaewon.
It didn’t matter whether she blocked him. He would just get a new number and keep tormenting her.
Jaewon Not for long, I'm sure
What does that even mean? What is he up to?
Abby who stood behind the couch looking at the screen with them. “I’ll call the girls.”
When they had gotten back to Honmoon Tower after making sure Y/n had gotten back safely. The girls insisted on making a pact. Not believing they would actually share everything with them if they didn’t make a pact. They vowed to keep each other updated on everything happening with Y/n. No secrets.
The pact sealed with a tattoo of a tiny flame appearing on their ribs as a reminder, and as punishment. If they were to forget to share something, important or not. The tattoo would slowly start burning, growing stronger the longer it takes. Only stopping when the information is shared.
All they heard was Abby saying ‘It’s about Y/n’ and they appeared in their living room. Worry clear on their faces. Dressed in gym clothes, a sheen of sweat covering their skin. Still a little breathless.
“What is it?” Zoey ask, finding a seat next to Baby as Abby hangs up the phone. Rolling his eyes at their appearance playfully.
“Jaewon, he just wont stop tormenting her,” Jinu explains. “I think it’s a threat but I can’t be sure,” taking Baby’s phone from him to show Jaewon’s last message to her.
“It has to be,” Mira confirms, obvious anger at the man harassing their girl. “What else can you do with this?” she asks, talking about the mirror image of Y/n’s phone.
“A lot,” Baby smirks. “When she’s asleep I can activate her phone and look through it.”
“And if she is using it? Can you listen to what she’s saying?”
“I could yeah,” Baby nods, going to the settings and activating the mic on her phone and the speaker on his own. Her voice immediately filling the space.
“What are you talking about?” I chuckle at the absurdity of my current situation. “You’re dropping me?”
“Yes, I am,” Kyungsoo says. There is uncertainty in his voice, his posture stiff. “Effective immediately.”
“What? But my contract-”
“It’s doesn’t matter,” he cuts me off. “Because of a morality clause. The label believes it’s best to part ways with the recent… controversies surrounding you.”
“Controversies? What controversies?” he avoids my gaze as I dig for more answers.
“That’s not for me to say,” he shrugs awkwardly casual. “You have 24 hours to get out of the dorms.”
“Twenty-fo- What? That’s not enough time! Where am I meant to go!?”
“You’ll figure it out,” with that he walks out, slamming the door to the studio.
“What?” my voice a quiet whisper as I sink back down onto the couch. “What am I gonna do?” I ask myself, my voice shaky.
Bzzz…. Bzzzz
Glancing at my phone which still sat on the coffee table where I left it when Kyungsoo came in.
Unknown Hey, how is your day?
