Midorikawa smiled to himself as he was hard at work in his shop, slowly grinding some herbs as he experimented on making a new scent. Then he sensed a familiar presence passing by. It always helped to know one’s customers and he hoped his personal touch made him popular among his Shinigami customers. After all, they served and protected them all, the least he could do was give them some comforts as they went about their duties.

“Good afternoon Ayasegaya, taking a break today? I have some new floral scents I think you might enjoy if you’re in the market. I trust you and Ikkaku are well?”
