thinking about how UTMV exists in the context that Undertale is a game to us but reality to them. Thinking about how Killer is the product of a player making a "Undertale but you play as Sans" mod and his entire story revolves around how he doesn't understand that, so it feels more like possession. Thinking about how Horrortale's Frisk likely no longer exists because their player was someone who got bored and didn't want to bother replaying for pacifist, so they just quit, but the characters don't know that- if/when they hit the surface, they might try to go looking, but will never find the fallen human who doomed them because that player and their avatar are gone and Frisk has no canon history to trace. Thinking about how Error is a literal corrupted file, something that destroys itself. Dancetale is a rhythm game and their battle style doesn't mesh with other universes, and everyone looks at them confused when they start a fight because why are you break dancing now. Dusttale is a battle royal but against a CPU, always seeking to be the last one standing. Ccino is an NPC merchant who we can't kill, and who doesn't understand what's happening in a genocide route because his sprite only exists there in the shop, it's all beyond him and he can do nothing but watch and wonder why as the regulars stop coming in. Farmtale is probably a Stardew Valley style farming sim with no battle system to begin with, they likely can't fight at all because it just isn't something they were coded to do, that's not what their game was about and they can't understand combat when they finally reach the wider multiverse because it wasn't built into them. The Antivoid and Void are the out of bounds areas- when you glitch through a wall because there was a barrier missing, you walk into the Void.

Undertale is a game. These worlds work on game logic, and are coded to their specific genres. They do not understand that. This is eldritch horror to them, and I think they would be terrified if they could understand just how small and limited their worlds are.

I don't know, I think they might get along? They have a lot in common it seems though I am not sure how Swan's touched starvedness and Ccino's adverse reactions to affection would blow over.

Or agrue like an old married couple whichever comes first.

I think Swapdream Nightmare and Dreamtale Nightmare will have drastically different reactions to the headband. I also wasn't sure if the headband should have went over or under the crown so I just flipped a coin on it.
