Kuroo had been quiet for a while. A little too quiet. It made Miwako anxious, but she really needed to get her homework done and she was so close. Just two more questions to answer! But as soon as she tried to get back to work, her hair was moved and she felt a pen touch her neck. A shudder ran down her spine. “Hey, that tickles…” Patiently, she waited until he was done. She looked back at him and tilted her head. “What did you write? It better not be anything bad Tetsurou-kun!”  

"I'm hurt at that accusation, Ai-chan! Your words wound me," he said with a lilt in his voice, leaning over her shoulder, his head propped on hers as he took a good look at the problem she was doing. "You're gonna wanna use sine substitution right here, since it's the square root of a squared minus x squared. Then you just complete the square." He drew a couple of arrows, and a star by the problem, all while leaning over her shoulder, his chest pressed against her back. After a moment, he sighed, pressing his face against the crook of her neck before he said, "Guess it depends on your definition of bad, although I don't think it's bad. Wanna know what I put?"

       ┏ The last time he was around this many girls had been probably Valentine's day of his third year of middle school. For whatever reason, it seemed like they chose that day to confess to him - maybe it was because none of them realized that he was too in deep when it came to volleyball, or the fact that just because he'd recently been broken up with didn't mean that he was ready to jump into another relationship.

So Kuroo isn't really bad with girls, really. It was just the groups of them that made him slightly grumpier than usual. He held tightly onto Miwako's hand and gave the rest of the Karasuno Women's Volleyball team a wave, telling them to not get into too much trouble of their day off in Tokyo, and that if they saw some guy with a blonde mohawk to run in the other direction.

"I think I'm going to have to buy you some pain medicine for any headaches you get from that," he mumbled slightly, still holding onto her hand as they walked down a crowded street. "I know they're probably your friends, but they're loud, huh. Reminds me of how my team can be."

He took a moment to look at Miwako, noticed that, at least compared to his simple white t-shirt and black jeans, she was dressed rather well and didn't even look out of place in Tokyo, even though she didn't live there like he did. And although he didn't mind her height—in fact it was quite the opposite—it was strange to let his gaze go back up and his face be that close to hers. He should've known better than to go slightly red, and he looked forward, coughing slightly.

"I'm just gonna borrow this for the day, if you don't mind," he said while he held their joined hands up to indicate that that was what he was talking about. "You look nice, by the way. I'd apologize for you having to deal with me as an escort but I'd rather be greedy and have you anyway, so I wont."

He gave her a grin, before he squeezed her hand a bit and added, "So, Ai-chan! I have movie tickets in a couple of hours but if you'd rather spend it sight seeing we can forget that. Wanna just walk around or is there somewhere you want to go?"┛
