personally, i think kids or people who listen to emo/edgy music aren’t bad?? i feel like edgy or sad or angry music is a good outlet to let out your feelings, personally, sometimes happy music is just annoying and hard to listen to when you’re upset. there’s exceptions to the people who listen to it, but i think mostly it’s fine.

i don’t know if it’s an unpopular opinion, it’s just you mostly see people making fun of bands like linkin park or mcr or people being embarrassed about listening to them and really, i don’t think it’s bad, it’s a good and safe way to cope with anger or whatever when you listen to music like that.
