anything fluffy with nolan,, maybe waking up in the morning,, or just snuggling in general
this took me way too long to write, i apologize 😭
when you opened your eyes you were met with a stream of sunlight peeking through the blinds. you were tucked into a warm body, looking up to meet his face seeing that he was still asleep. you smiled softly to yourself, admiring how peaceful your boyfriend looked while you absentmindedly drew shapes into his bare chest. not long after nolan started to stir, his eyes softly fluttered open, squinting when the light hit his eyes.
“morning.” nolan’s raspy morning voice made an appearance, sending goosebumps over your body.
“good morning!” you grinned up at your boyfriend, placing a chaste kiss to his shoulder blade. he smiled down at you, stretching his body out and tangling his legs with yours. “how did you sleep?”
“like a baby.” nolan mumbled, brushing some hair away from your face and tracing his finger down the slope of your nose, smirking softly when you scrunched your nose. “you?”
“slept amazing.” you agreed, a content look on your face. “i like waking up next to you.”
he leaned down, capturing your lips in a soft kiss, lightly cupping your face and stroking his thumb over your cheekbone. your lips melted into his, and you felt yourself smiling into the kiss. he pulled away, giving you another quick kiss, not wanting to pull away just yet. “i like waking up with you too.”
you felt your face heating up, it wasn’t often that nolan was too affectionate with his words, but when he was it always made you feel warm inside. the look in his eyes full of nothing but adoration as he soaked up this moment with you. it was simple, but the two of you looked forward to lazy mornings like this one given that you didn’t always get the chance for it.
“mmm, i love you.” you stated, and it was his turn to smile, a wide smile, a true smile. the one where his eyes were crinkled in the corners, the one you loved so much and looked forward to seeing everyday.
“i love you.” nolan breathed, and your heart fluttered in your chest. you’d never get tired of hearing it. his fingertips were making small circular motions on your shoulder, and you moved your body up placing short kisses along his neck. you continued your kisses along his jawline and kissing at the corners of his mouth, finally ending with a long kiss to his lips. you pulled away, biting his lip softly, a smirk making its way to your face when he took a deep breath. “this morning is just getting better and better.”
