❛  anakin  -  i  don’t  exactly  agree  with  this  method  of  yours.  ❜   THE  APPARITION  MUSES,  hand  reaching  to  stroke  the  fine  fibres  of  his  once  auburn  beard.  not  there  was  much  he  could  do  about  the  situation  but  it  still  doesn’t  stop  obi-wan  from  voicing  his  concern  ;  ever  the  same  in  life  as  he  was,  apparently,  now  in  death.

❛  will  you  be  joining  us  tonight,  sir  ?  ❜   THERE’S  A  FONDNESS  TO  HIS  VOICE  as  fives  follows  anakin  off  the  recently  landed  shuttle,  helmet  casually  being  carried  tucked  up  his  side  and  a  relieved  spring  in  his  step  after  their  recent  successful  mission.  with  the  501st  being  relieved  of  their  duty  to  clean  up  and  regain  some  strength  for  their  next  outpost,  most  of  the  clones  had  decided  to  head  to  the  bar  for  the  night.  this  invitation  had,  of  course,  been  passed  to  anakin.   ❛  or  have  you  got,  uh,  jedi  business  to  attend  to  ?  ❜

❛  WELL,  this  is  where  i  live.  ❜   to  bring  a  jedi  into  the  confinements  of  their  home  was  almost  unheard  of  and  to  have  invited  them  was  less  so  ---  but  it  was  needed.  a  case  that  involved  the  force  wielders  usually  never  meant  something  good  and,  as  much  as  jack  hated  to  admit  it,  he  was  at  a  loss  and  needed  help  ;  it  was  a  force  sent  that  at  least  one  had  answered  his  call.

their  adjective  ?  to  find  a  small  child  who  went  missing  immediately  after  being  told  they  were  force  sensitive.  what  this  meant  to  jack,  he  doesn’t  know  but  the  parents  offered  a  large  sum  of  credits  and  his  own  moral  standing  meant  he  couldn’t  ignore  the  plea.  and  what  better  help  than  to  use  someone  known  for  their  force  sensitivity.

THE  HOUSE  WAS  PRETTY  BAREN.  it’s  obvious  hardly  any  time  was  spent  within  the  house  with  maps  and  datapads  being  the  only  exception,  which  were  spread  across  the  room  immediately  upon  entry.  

❛  suppose  i  have  some  explaining  to  do.  ❜

         The warrior heard a voice behind her, sounding awfully familiar. Anakin. Eivor turns her head to greet him, casually shoving the enemy off the other end of her hidden blade. She flicks the blood from her wrist, turning around to face him with a deep frown.                             ❝You weren’t here. I had to fight back.                           They did this weird... Magic and nearly                           killed me. It was me or them.❞

RANDOM  IC  ASKS. @flyhighguy​ asked:  Puts a hand on Fives' shoulder, encouragingly. "Great work out there, Fives."  (not a hug exactly ... but close)

THE  MISSION  HAD  BEEN  TAXING  ON  ALL  OF  THEM.  yet,  through  it  all,  somehow,  all  the  clones  were  accounted  for  and  none  had  perished.  a  victory  like  none  other,  and  pride  beamed  off  fives’  features  as  he  overlooked  the  coruscant  hanger  where  his  comrades  all  stood  chatting.  moments  like  these,  it’s  what  he  appreciates  the  most  about  fighting  for  the  jedi,  for  the  republic  ;  for  his  brothers.  anakin’s  words  were  almost  missed,  if  not  for  the  encouraging  hand  placed  upon  padded  shoulders  fives  is  certain  he’d  still  be  completely  lost  in  thought.  in  fact,  that  was  the  only  reason  he  hadn’t  stood  to  attention.

features  grow  soft  under  the  gentle,  encouraging,  validation  from  general  skywalker.  this  had  been  only  his  second  mission  under  the  arc  trooper  title  and  it  reminds  him  of  all  the  good  he’s  yet  to  do.   ❛  thank  you  sir.  it... ah.  it  means  a  lot.  couldn’t  have  done  it  without  my  brothers  or  you,  sir.  ❜
