Nod was flying through the forest one day- when he saw something, that he wouldn't forget. A huge shadow passed over his hummingbird, and when he looked up, the creature seemed to block out the sun. 'A flying lizard?!' Nod thought with a start. 'And a rider,' he noticed. Urging his bird upwards and over the black lizard- Nod narrowed his eyes at the boy riding it. Was he a threat to Moonhaven?

Jack was flying through the air. He usually flew around Burgess to check on the kids, but this time he decided to fly somewhere entirely new. He decided to fly further up north. Finding a small village, Jack decided to investigate. Landing on the ground, he noticed there were many Vikings around. If they could see him, they paid no attention to him.
Jack flinched when he heard something roar. He turned around to see a dragon. Jack didn't know if the dragon was going to attack, but Jack wanted to be cautious. He took a few steps back not knowing what to do. He held tightly onto his staff and pointed it at the dragon. "S-stay back." Jack said nervously.

Tuffnut stared at these four new-comers with vague interest, eyeing up the females for a moment longer than he did the two others. Okay, one other. Hiccup he knew.
"Can I help you guys or are you just gonna stand there and not talk to me? You're worse than talking to pillars or Gothi or something."
