it was late by the time the girls got back to the dorm – the ones still living there, at least. sophie knows she could’ve already moved out, looked for a place for herself, but the girl is hesitant to live alone anyway. she still has a few months before moving out becomes mandatory so she’s unwilling to stress about it until she absolutely has to. for now, living in the same place she’d been living in for the past few years is a comfortable thing and one she wants to hold onto. she rushes to the bathroom to be the first one to take a shower, as she doesn’t want to go to bed even later than she should.
she gets back to the bathroom wearing a bathrobe, face mask in place, scrolling through her phone. even though it’s been months, sophie somehow still expects to receive a text from her ex – it’s unlikely as he’s in the army and, well, things didn’t really end up well between the two of them. it’s her fault, anyway, and she sighs as she falls on her bed. “ unnie, ” she turns her head to look at nana. “ did you enjoy the shoot today? ”
