Results of my first attempt at blocking a finished knit item and I'm officially obsessed! I forgot to take a pre-blocking picture but it was much shorter and very curled. Post-blocking it opened up the length by about 14", got rid of the curling edges and made the yarn sooo soft. Love it!

047/366 Bella Baby Ensemble, Bonnet by rjrahardjo Via Flickr: As I was looking into the list of things that we need to bring for hospital stay, I realized my daughter never has a hat made. So I quickly looked into my ravelry queue for a baby hat. I decided to make her this bonnet.

Pattern: Bella Baby Ensemble, Bonnet from the knitter's book of wool. yarn: Nashua HandKnits Ivy needle: US 1.5 and US 0.

Pattern called for a sport weight but I wanted this yarn which is an aran weight to work, thus I had to get gauge with much smaller needle.
