doing a clover-inspired "evil"/pro-institute run with Oleander <3 she's gonna rip and tear her way to a cushy life underground if it kills her

anywho im doing the BoS questline in fo4 for the first time as Rose, under the idea of, like,

Rose subconsciously never wanted to be straight-married with a kid but could never allow herself to admit that

so when Nate and Shawn die/go missing her guilt is more centered around the fact that she's not as upset as she thinks she should be

toying with the idea of ''maybe this was good for me ultimately'' is too guilt-racking for her so she Copes™

first (bad) coping attempt: joining the BoS bc Nate was in the army, so she feels like she's honoring his memory somehow or s/t

and we'll see where she goes from there 🤔

I think when Rhys says "she probably doesn't even know what ad victoriam means" if ur playing as nora there should be a response that says "I went to fucking law school i know more latin than your entire boys club"

adding the classic ui beep from fo3/nv back to fo4 has enhanced my experience imeasurably

started experimenting with prolongued exposure shots so i could get some decent radlightning pics🤔

ok heres my tie-in to the main plot using my au character i think i got it:

Baker grew up in NYC: the New York Crater

comes to the Commonwealth (i.. actually don’t know why yet lol)

is immediately picked out by Codsworth

same name as Codsworth’s old head of household (in this au i guess)

codsworth’s sensors also find a 98% similarity between their faces

eventually Baker works out w/ codsworth that he’s not who Cod thinks he is, it’s just happenstance

Codsworth “hires” him in a sense then to help find the real family

maybe somewhere down the line it’s not happenstance, and Baker is a synth made to be like Nate??? idk this is just rambling now but it’d be interesting
