From the darkness of the vast and insurmountable Canadian winter comes singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Morgan Rider with his debut solo album ‘Folklore’. Twelve tracks of haunting folk and soulful acoustic blues sing the stories of a life swathed in joy, pain, glory and defeat. Songs like ‘Home Again’, ‘The Thunder and the Serpent’ and ‘From the North’ sweep you away to the frozen tundras and nestle you next to the crackling of a raging bonfire on a frigid winter night while the northern lights blaze silently across the skies. ‘Folklore’ is an album for those with adventure in their eyes and a fire in their hearts.
