Cat sits on a red rug, which is a signature of the cats I create for my pottery. This one has blue walls with red dots and on the back of the plate are a border of yellow daisies. Wonderful gift for the cat lover in your life. This is a medium sized tray, but is the larger tray in this particular group of cat trays. Use as a treat or snack, but certainly can be used many ways, perhaps to hold soaps or even hung on the wall(with a plate hanger to secure it, which can be purchased at any hardware store)There are only two,and are sold separately but look very nice together as a set. Lovely hand painted majolica tray is food safe, yet beautiful for display on your wall, book shelf or coffee table. 7" across, 7" top to bottom, 1" sitting on table Each piece of pottery is made in my front porch studio. Though small I make it work, but I make in stages. I fill a bisque kiln with green ware, raw dried clay. Once the greenware has gone through a bisque fire and removed from kiln the studio is cleaned up as I prepare to hand dip each piece. I can only dip as many as I have room for, so I may dip a part of the bisque ware at the time and as pieces are finished with painting and put in kiln in wait for the glaze fire, I will then glaze more. When the kiln is full I glaze fire this takes approximately 10 hours plus time to cool, because I like to warm up everything for about 6 hours before raising the temps.
