the person saying woofles shouldnt be held accountable for the alters he forms seems to be missing the point. its the same as any other mental illness, you cant always control your thoughts but you need to get ahold of your alters/actions. because obsessively and publically basing a facet of your identity, dissosiative or not, on a real life person that you personally know and had a falling out with is extremely fucking weird and a reflection of the obsessive tendencies hes displayed in relationships where he abused people.
i know everyone here just knows himeguts as a vague problematic internet character and not a human being, but woofles dated him. this is someone he should view as a whole ass person because they were extremely close at some point and yet he allows his alter of this ex e-boyfriend to post on tumblr and goes on vrchat to roleplay as his fursona. he has an alter of said ex boyfriends long time internet stalker. like, remove your hatred of himeguts or birdie from this situation and think about how disturbing and maladaptive this behavior is for one second. he has an issue with not thinking of other people as human beings once he splits on them and decides theyre evil. just because its a symptom of his mental illness dosent mean its not destructive to himself and the people around him. just because its a symptom dosent mean everyone should just let it slide.
(i should specify that i am a system with alters of real people and i do not just let them roam free and identify with their sources in public. i put in the work to stop that from happening because it is harmful to myself and to others. if i couldnt do that i would, like, delete tumblr or something...?? come on now...)
