Home Turf Chapter 2: Natural Habitat
It's angst time with @makkiro
It was sad, in a way, how much Asahi looked forward to his not-quite-an-hour lunch break at weekends. But he spent the whole morning watching the clock, glancing at the time every chance he got, just waiting until he could go. As soon as he could, he gave a promise to be back on time, and headed off.
He looked scruffy, and he knew it. Still in his work uniform, with hair tangled but thrown into a bun anyway, beard currently untamed, and bags under his eyes. As much as Asahi took care of his appearance normally, it hadn't been a priority. Makki, though. He was definitely a priority.
That was why Asahi rushed to see him, and why he moved in to peck Takahiro's cheek the moment he was close enough.
"Hey. Sorry, I hope you weren't waiting long."
😍 for multiple kisses in greeting /cheerleader au where he does the lipstick thing >:3c
Asahi always missed Makki. It was so cheesy, so cliché, to say that he missed him even if they were only apart for a few hours. But then, Asahi was a lovestruck loser where Makki was concerned, so it wasn't too surprising.
Everytime he saw his boyfriend, his first reaction was to smile, then, once Takahiro was in arm's reach, kiss him on the cheek. Then the other cheek. Then his lips.
"I missed you." The customary greeting, and then he knew to expect kisses back - they always made him giggle like a schoolgirl. And, on days like today, left him with kiss marks on his cheeks in whatever lipstick Makki had decided to wear. Asahi didn't even mind it, even if he pretended too.
"Takaaa, did you leave lipstick on me again?"
