Such an amazing spread of various meat dishes. I was given a complimentary beef dish to start my dining experience. I ordered Ibericos pig smoked ham, the thick cut bacon steak, edamame and finishing off with a glass of sour plum. For dinner tonight we went to @sizzlingmongolianbbq - it was a first for me but @breenzy.enl and @inkorgn1to had been before and highly recommended it. I absolutely loved this place - you go in, select your meats then veggies; after that you season it with a choice of different items such as garlic, ginger, wine, soy sauce etc then pass it to a chef who cooks it on a giant hot plate. Once done you then pick what sauces or spices to mix through for the final touch. I loved it. Highly recommend anyone visiting or living in #Brisbane to check it out. While there, I saw they also had some history of the #MongolianBBQ - "It is said that when Genghis Khan expedition to Europe, the battle line was stretched and the stone was built into a stove. Therefore, the shield was used as an oven, and the horses and some cattle, pigs and chickens were cut into pieces, and the wild vegetables were placed on the shield surface. Seasoning on the barbecue, this is the origin of the original Mongolian barbecue."
