My Tai Chi teacher has really taken things to a new level the past few days, taking me to some top notch family run #eating institutions! This place is just 6/7 mins from home amongst a cluster of restaurants I've now been to. The speciality here is #fish he googled as Pacific #Saury Which is caught on the east coast of #korea and dried whole for 2 weeks. I'm told the season for the fish ends next week( unsure why but it doesn't sound like the fishermen stop netting them. Other restaurants apparently serve an inferior product that has been cut in half and then dried (it's quicker to dry -1 week). The result is a firm savoury number that goes incredibly well with some simply veg, seasoning and chilli sauces. It's a lot fun wrapping your own #foodparcel s!
