She lofted a brow at his hesitation, his sentence trailing off before it had even started.  What was he up to?

Ah...back to the continual question of “How are you alive?”  Well, not quite; she couldn’t actually die, as he well knew, but she knew that had Pain and Panic not been sneaking her topside food, she would have been a weak, useless pile of foliage by now.  As it was, the imps couldn’t get their hands on any ambrosia from up top, and without the true food of the gods, her powers had become rather limited, but mortal food was at least keeping some color in her leaves for now.

“Well, I’m a goddess of plants, not an actual plant, so, no, not technically,” she said.  “Lord of the Dead doesn’t equal actually dead.”  Her eyes flickered downward at his towering form.

“Obviously.”

She smirked and crossed her bare legs, stretching them across the windowseat and leaning back.  “And maybe I’m just naturally luminous in any environment,” she teased, grinning up at him.

Christmas Cards and Other Things

Hello everyone. No, I am not dead...lol I feel dead, but I can assure you all I am still here and kicking. I have just been very busy. Right after Halloween, I went straight into Christmas decorating. You see, I have my home and my parents home that gets completely decked out for the Holidays. We were suppose to be done by Thanksgiving. The first of December at the latest, but unfortunately due to illness and the blasted weather, we were often time delayed. For the past two weeks, trying to make up for lost time, I have been getting up at eight in the morning and staying out until around seven in the evening. There were some pieces I had to fix before they could go up and some new stuff that had to be built. Needless to say some nights I didn't return to my house until after ten at night. 

On top of that all, I had responsibilities to keep up and my poor rp partners have had to wait for me. The good news, I am back. I will still be slow. I have still much to do, but I won't be so tied up as I have been the past two months. I thank you all for your patience. I appreciated it more than you realize. 

My blog has finally gone from Halloween to Christmas...lol So if you want some good Christmas music to listen to stop by and enjoy. I am also always open for requests and suggestions. 

I haven't began officially Christmas shopping yet, but I do have gifts already for my besties. I got an early start on that and next I just have to do Christmas cards. I have shorten my list a bit since last year, so that shouldn't take as long. Which brings me to: 

Last year I sent out additional cards to followers and I want to openly invite you all, if you would like a Christmas card from me again this year or for the first time this year, send me an ask with your info. Please though, eighteen and over unless I know you in person; have met you before. I will take card requests until the thirteenth of December. After which I will no longer be sending cards out. I will send to anywhere in the world as well. So if you are not apart of the US, don't worry, you can still receive a Christmas card from me. 

Well, I think that about does it for now. Not much else to update you on. Just trying to get over illnesses and enjoy the festivities. I hope everyone else is having a wonderful Holiday season.

Thank you. I enjoy sending Christmas cards. Last year I think my final tally was 120 cards. I have been doing it since grade school. I remember watching my mother do them every year and so when I got to Junior high, I believe it was, I began to hand out cards to my friends and teachers. Before that is was just hit or miss. I usually just bought a gift for my teacher and my Secret Santas in class. And at work I use to make goody bags, so everyone at work ended up with a bag of sugar, (exaggerating), alongside their Christmas cards. If I had the money, I would probably send goody bags with my Christmas cards…lol

Anywho, I am serious if anyone reading this wants a Christmas card from me, I will send you one.

Question! Do you roleplay?

Online, I’ve never really tried! I’d love to, though. In meatspace, I’ve been a roleplayer for a *long* time in tabeltop RPGs. If someone proposed a good RP, I’d absolutely be in for it.
