1. The Unicorn Girl
Read this as a kid and loved it. It’s about a girl who discovers she has magic powers? and she can communicate with unicorns. And there’s a witch who lives in the woods and another bad witch who wants to capture the unicorns and has an evil crow. Fav (or most memorable) part is the image of snow and white roses
2. El Heroe Perdido
Spanish version of The Lost Hero, part of the Heroes of Olympus series. Got this at B&N in October and haven’t read it yet
3. George
I own the Spanish version but would like to read it in both languages. I’ve heard it’s really good. Got this at the library (they have a special thing where they have books for sale for $0.25-1 and it’s the best thing ever
4. The Left Hand of Darkness by Ursula K. LeGuin
My old English teacher pulled me aside before school in January and talked to me about life and how I seemed down and if I wanted I could go chill in his room during my English class (which is right next door to his classroom). It was really touching and I’d like to read it and visit him again
5. There Is A Light by @basic-banshee
I read the (first?) draft and I was in awe. I love everything that she writes and how real it is. Ban’s writing just hits different
6. Sparkling Cyanide by Agatha Christie
I’ve been getting into murder mysteries recently and picked this up at the library a month ago
7. The Percy Jackson and Heroes of Olympus series
I’ve been rereading the pjo series as comfort and it’s been really nice
8. There There by Tommy Orange
I’m already most of the way done with this book and saw him talk about it earlier this month and he’s absolutely brilliant. This is his debut novel, which is hard to grasp because it’s just so so good. From afar he kind of reminded me of Frank Iero
9. Hood by Stephen R. Lawhead
I have four of his books that have been sitting on my bookshelf gathering dust for years and I’d like to give those books a shot. This is part of a series about Robin Hood which I like a lot
10. Lord of the Rings
Yes, another series. I’ve tried reading lotr like 3 times and the farthest I’ve gotten is halfway through the second one. I’ve seen the movies, but I really wanna read the books
