@ anon I got your message and I’m really sorry that happened to you. I had a similar experience where I expressed my want for a relationship in college but didn’t want to go out and have that one night stand or meaningless FWB sort of thing...and people didn’t understand how I could have attractions to certain people but not want to have sex with them. I have a hard time explaining demisexuality to people and it can get really frustrating. (I’m pretty much demi btw, lol.)

I do write a lot of smut (not as much as I used to for my own pleasure, more so for commissions now.) but I realized that I do so because its my own safe way to explore my sexuality. The more I write these days the more I want to write about more than that, and I really do appreciate what you said in the second part, because especially with my current fics i’m writing i love to explore different forms of intimacy. you’re right, intimacy can be so many different things and it’s so nice to explore that in fiction! <3 and yes:
