hello lovelies! big update. sorry it’s long!

// my deepest apologies for all the quiet from me lately. tbh. i wasn’t in the best place mentally. after five deaths in the family in a very short amount of time (one being my father-in-law) and just barely any time to let one sink in before another happened. plus just my already there depression and anxiety/ocd in and of themselves... my brain hasn’t been in the headspace to write much. much less do it on tumblr where it’s always better for you if you’re in a good place mentally rather than not to be here, if we’re being real.

but. i have been working on things with my other half. our lives were really strained for a while. but we came out on the better side of things and it feels like we’re in a much happier and healthier both mentally and spiritually spots nowadays.

i’m going to be making a deep dive at a comeback to writing here this coming week. got a new computer and just upgraded my life in general. played a lot of games. kept my circle small. and worked on my house.. now i’m ready to be around the sweethearts i love and dive back into the things i adore doing with those i adore doing things with.

..and that’s you guys who are still here tbh.

so!! thanks for hanging in there. thanks for checking in and saying hi. and thanks for putting up with my sporadic at best presence and my long bouts of quiet. i, normally, just don’t share when i’m in a really bad spot. hate bringing others down cause in this day and age, there are so many people struggling. so? i focus on what i need to in order to come back in a better spot and i feel like i’m in that place now. 

y’all are the best. and i really do adore each one of you. i hope you know that!

* i’ve lived in every timezone in the united states! but my home and heart will always belong in new orleans. * i’ve done lights for a rupaul show in a once very popular gay club down in south florida that is no longer there, sadly. * i’ve gone to more concerts and shows than i can remember anymore. my favorite concerts have been the cure, HIM, my chemical romance, dave matthews band, and peter murphy. but there’s tons of others i’ve been lucky enough to see. my favorite show is beetlejuice: the musical. * i love the water. swimming, being near it, anything involving water and i’m there. * i was raised by my great-grandmother and father for most of my life. both of whom i consider soulmates because they have part of my soul with them always. there’s a lotta love there and i never once took it for granted.
