this isn't a meme but reply with jughead finding out that caroline turned archie when she was humanity-less!
EVIL PROMPTS FROM THE WORST RAT EVER.
Guilt. Guilt stormed him. It flooded through his veins, rushing wildly to every corner of his mind, his soul. His best friend. He nearly crumpled forward, somehow miraculously remaining standing, but there was no feeling in the lower half of his body. It was as if he’d gone entirely numb, except for the wild rate his heart had taken, and the way everything he had inside felt like he was wearing it on the out. His best friend. Archie Andrews -- the purest heart he knew, the best person, friend, son ... He deserved better than this. He deserved so much better than this.
It was his fault entirely. Caroline was only in Archie’s life because of him, because he’d brought her here to Riverdale. And now he’d lost his life because of it, doomed to be something that would destroy him. Archie Andrews needing to hurt someone to keep himself alive? To feed on blood -- even if it was only from bags, he knew the way that would way on the redhead. Knowing someone could have used that blood to survive, that doctors could save lives with it. And if he ever attacked anyone? There was no way he could handle that, to live with himself and what he now was.
It was all his fault.
He didn’t realize how hard his hand had been clamped over his mouth. Flat, dull nails had dug deep into his cheeks, leaving little dents when he finally forced it away, lungs sucking in air they’d been deprived of. He didn’t know how long it had been since he’d drawn his last breath. His mind raced like his pulse did, the room swaying gently. It didn’t feel real, it couldn’t be real. Please don’t let it be real! Maybe this was her trick. To tell him that she did this to make him suffer the way she seemed to enjoy so much. But he knew in the recesses of his mind that it was true. If she’d say it, she’d do it -- hurting Archie meant nothing to her now, and that would come back to haunt her whenever her humanity was switched back on, but now there was no undoing what had been done. One way or another, he was losing the boy he loved most in the world.
I’m sorry, Arch. He pleaded desperately in silence, eyes closing around the wetness that clung to his lashes as his face tightened, mouth wrinkled and brows creasing, trying to drown it all out. I’m sorry -- But there was nothing he could do now, nothing except to be there for the boy whose whole existence was forever changed. He felt the final pieces crack in him, the intense wave of sorrow and guilt giving way to a surging rage, so powerful it seemed like something had switched in him too. “Where the hell is he? Where the hell is my best friend?!”
