💭 (Loki and an angsty memory?)
Rumple was trembling in his sleep, muttering and shaking his head. He was very obviously having a nightmare, but the moment that Loki touched him he didn’t wake. Instead he accidentally pulled the man into his dream, which was in fact more of a memory.
In his memory, Rumple was on his knees inside a cage. The door to the cage was open, but a woman was blocking the entrance. Not that it mattered. She also had Rumple’s dagger. “Meat pie,” Rumple commented when he recognized the food she was forcing him to eat. His stomach rolled in protest, but his hand moved the spoon closer to his mouth.
“It’s your favorite,” the woman commented. That was all it took to clue him in to the fact that she was doing this on purpose.
“You’re enjoying this, aren’t you?” he asked her, mouth half full of food. He was slow to swallow it since he didn’t want to eat it at all, but of course eventually he had to.
“It does have it’s perks,” the woman agreed, only she was looking at the dagger. So, she liked tormenting him in general then, not just this specific time. He should have known. “But soon I’m not going to need this,” she told him, eyes turning back to him. “I won’t have to force you to do anything. Soon, you’re going to do whatever I ask, because you want to.”
Rumple almost gagged on the food he was still being compelled to eat. Do what she said because he wanted to? As if. He settled for giving her a glare before getting another bite of food, hating how weak and helpless he was in front of her. Especially since she was enjoying it so much. All she did in response was laugh, continuing to watch him as she reveled in his forced obedience.
