For the foreign language requirement can it be fulfilled if we took three years of a language in high school? Or must those foreign language classes be taken at USF?
At USF, you are required to take up to the third level of a foreign language. Your high school courses won’t count (unless you have AP’s -- you can learn more about AP Foreign Language and the score conversion here). Because you’ve taken foreign language courses already, you’ll be taking a placement test to determine what level of that foreign language you’ll take at USF. It is possible to place out of it all together, but you’ll more than likely have to take at least a semester or two of your language while you’re here.
