Ritsu Onodera isn’t fully Japanese...(the foreign AU/theory)
I have this one theory that's probably not even close to the actual story but…what if Ritsu isn’t fully Japanese……?
Not of recent but some time in December I heard that on May 1st 2018 a SIH chapter called “Marriage Registration” will be released, saying how Takano and Ritsu got their marriage registered on February 5. Obviously, that sounds like a marriage proposal may have happened, but the question remains…will/did Ritsu accept so quick? If my theory is correct, that Ritsu wasn’t born in Japan, then he might HAVE to accept the marriage proposal right then and there. Because remember he had a wonderful, and supporting fiance he was supposed to marry to stay in the country (probably), however they broke it off, Ritsu’s mother getting mad because now he has to go through other stuff just to stay in Japan (i actually don’t know how it works in Japan but…). It could explain why he’s good at English, good enough to go to England the motherland of English, that’s so full of different kinds of slang, and study. Seeing as how my theory is totally bogus and full of wishful thinking, I have somehow thought up of the question “what nationality would Ritsu be?”, had my theory been true.
One of my personal favorite nationality’s that Ritsu might be is American. Being American might explain why he’s so fucking dumb, I mean have you met us?! It’s also FULL of different cultures, so he’s still close to his other home being Japan. “But wait, if he was American then why did he go to England?”. Well because of recent events, I’ve realized that he might’ve been afraid of going back to high school in America because of school shootings. So how about that American Ritsu, being a memester boi laughing at American vines maybe?? Ghetto Asian boy Ritsu? Just doing really American stuff that no one else does, not even American stuff just ghetto stuff that all Asian kids have done or went through. Or maybe Ritsu watching Disney movie with his husband Takano. Probably curses a lot in English, knows sum slang and shit
Whatever, other weird American things he does, maybe he’s not even American, think of other nationality’s he could be, or nationality’s that seem completely out of the question, but still headcanon it anyways. Please tell me what y’all think about this idea, is it fun, is it good, would like to hear more about, just anything.
