Did a trail run at a slow 8:50 pace. I woke up at 7 am to get my run in. It was totally worth it. The humidity was already at 81% by that point and it was about 78 degrees. I remember when I would run between 7:20-8:00 minutes/mile and now there is no way. I have been injured for a long time so what can I expect. I have to be patient. At least I have legs that allow me to move and run and walk and sprint. I will get back to my pace eventually. I have to put in the hard work. I haven't put in hard work for a while because of my stress fracture. I am currently training for a 10k and I'm excited. I forgot how much I love to run and run in competitions. I also have to start learning how to fuel my body and care for my body properly so I can get in good runs. Any tips and advice and kind words are welcome!
