Guide for hunting in forests
1. You never touch what’s already dead, once you kill something it’s considered yours and you don’t want to anger the owner.
2. If you are out after dark, never shoot your gun, you might not like what you find dead.
3. Try to avoid going out when it’s dark, just as a general rule of thumb.
4. What you hear in the forest is never what it seems, even if you think it’s someone you know it’s most likely something else.
5. Be careful where you shine your flashlight, some things don’t like to be startled.
6. Twigs and leafs cracking behind you are fine, it’s when trees and bushes start to fall that you should become wary.
7. While it may seem like everything out there is trying to kill you don’t forget you do have some friends, just please try not to anger them.
8. Deer and Elk are fine as long as you have the right license. It’s the smaller things you need to worry about, they have the biggest souls.
9. Every move you make effects something else, so be careful what energy you have.
10. Never fight, that just attracts more.
11. Don’t look behind you if the wind picks up. You’ll never be yourself again.
12. Don’t drink from any slow moving waters, that just means they’ve done something to it.
13. Always be wary in meadows, the ground isn’t as solid as you think.
14. Finding skulls is common, but rips or leg bones should worry you.
15. Try not to leave anybting they can trace you with, some of them are mobile.
