Last night was our first night in our new apartment. Finally finished moving. We just have no furniture except for two chairs we got at my work because we both have difficulty sitting and getting up from the floor. Enjoyed doing my laundry in my pajamas for the first time in my life. The hallway sounds aren't blocked so we can hear everything and kids live next door so we can hear them in the middle of the night running back and forth so I need to get something to lessen the noise. This morning I woke up to the sound of the vent which is also the bathroom light switch. Saw ma was still asleep so I was a bit freaked out. Looked to see if the front door was closed and it was. Then the vent/light turned off. I was 😱 so I got my cane cuz ghosts definitely can't be harmed them🙃 walked to the bathroom and it flickered and did it again. 😧 I figured it was wiring issues but still what a way to freak us out in our new place😅 Then I moved the shower curtain at the same time I was stepping out of the bathtub. Did not anticipate the fact that the tub at standing is way higher than the floor so when I stepped on the floor I misstepped and fell out, took the shower curtain and rod with me and landed directly on my knees and smacked my hand floor and walked my elbow. Had to wake ma so she could try stepping in and out of the tub so she's aware to be careful. So that cane I bought last week...really helpful right now. 🥴 On a different note, since the seasons are close to changing it's now really dark when I get to downtown and looking quite unsafe.
