what's your program?

My college program? It’s officially called digital communications - it has a lot of focus on the media industry, particularly in television and film. I wanna use this to get myself closer to working in television. A screenwriter would be my ideal goal, but I also learned through one of my projects that I also really like working with actors - I don’t know what this would be called, but directing actors on tone and body language and stuff like that.

I know it’s a pipe dream, though.

I’ll be first row rooting for Normani. But the fans need to understand that the show is brutal even for the best dancers. So they better not get too comfortable and really vote every week.

yes, if most of the fb comments on the dwts posts are any indication, they know/like her and seem to be excited about her being on the show. so we will see :)

Well, here's hoping you actually get an announcement on the 6th! :) I haven't heard much from Fresh lately but just checked their website and they seem to be re-tooling to "prime time" programming. McGillis is still in charge though.

I don’t know what to make of the site’s current state... the old site was interesting, mainly due to the blog. I liked how they kept us all updated on new shows, and the time period where they were sharing TDRR production material was cool. The new site is so... cold. It’s weirding me out.

More announcement craziness? I see you used the comparison to Fresh and unfortunately that's not a unique sitch at ALL. Glee claimed they were gonna confirm details on a blooper release and they never came out, and Dancing With the Stars lies to the competitors and audience every week (or skirts as close as they can without breaking the law). Welcome to the entertainment industry. I hope your announcement today was at least legitimate if not as good as you hoped.

Yikes, this happens a lot, huh...

Hell, Fresh pulled that this year, too! Potenza said he had an announcement coming up, and then nothing. I hate saying it, but not only am I nearly certain that TD is dead at this point, I’m worried about the company as a whole.

I didn’t get an announcement today - that’s not until November 6. And I’m sure it’ll mean something to someone, if only because this show has some very devoted fans who will riot if they don’t follow through. =p It’s just a matter of if it’s something like “Osomatsu-san will be getting new material, like a new season or a movie”, or something nice but meaningless to me, like another live show or museum exhibit - stuff that sounds cool but I’m on the wrong continent for. We shall see...
