Hi ate, nagbabackread ako ng blog mo and I found out na your course was BFA-AA. hehe. Was it hard? I'm an incoming froshie, BFA-AA sa USC. hehe. got some tips?:)) thanks.:)
Hiiiii! :) thank you for taking your time browsing through my blog. anyway, it’s really nice to hear that someone like you would have an interest in taking up BFA- Advertising in USC, and asking an alumni, like me, about it. First of all, I must say, it’s easy at the beginning, but it’s gonna get harder every year. But no worries, you’ll eventually get by, there would be some things that you should look out for, hmm, don’t be intimidated by other “socialites” or “pa sosyal” students you’ll eventually meet/or know soon in CAFA, you just do your thing and be yourself, many people will love you for that, even though they’ll see you differently in the beginning. Next thing, always believe in your artworks, but consider constructive criticisms most especially from the teachers. Apply criticisms, but don’t forget the general idea of your artwork which always originates from you, that will make an artwork unique. In the end, you always have to defend your artwork. :))) Hmmm, another thing, DEADLINES, don’t be too distracted by err… distractions, always focus, so you can meet deadlines. Trust me, it’ll help you when you finally get a job. Hmmm, oh yeah, always be humble, don’t mind others who’ll flaunt on their work, it’s ok to flaunt, but not too much. and yeah, before I forget, Have Fun!! make the most out of every semester in your college, don’t be too disappointed when it comes to minor subjects, well, yeah, it’s distracting, but look on the bright side, you’ll eventually meet more friends and future clients there. and I suggest, every time you get a minor subject, be adventurous, try enrolling in that subject that’s assigned to another building in TC, hehe well, actually, I did that on my last 2 years stay in college, to get a breathe of fresh air once in a while,. (para dili lang puro mga taga CAFA ako makit.an ba) hehe. :) Hope I helped a bit, :) If you still have questions, feel free to ask me. I would be glad to help you out. :))
